Uh... Do you own a 3DS? That thing has like 1/6 the battery life of the Vita.

You have no clue how hyped I am to see a teaser of
Mario. I'm going to assume it's 3D Mario because Nintendo wants to start NX off with a bang and 3D Mario is my favorite series by far!

With that size i'm a bit skeptical on the specs. It looks much thinner than it expected it to be to have decent thermal dissipation. At that size it's probably not that much better than a WiiU, if even.

Doesn't mean NX is not more powerful than WiiU. It can also mean they didn't take the time to significantly upgrade the game graphics. Maybe the rez only will be better.

Not necessarily. BotW is a cross gen game. It not being too much of an upgrade doesn't really say much about the console's actual power.

I expected that meant only Zelda would be shown, and no other games, but maybe I was nust reading into it too much and she literally meant the exact launch lineup wouldn't be told but didn't intend to discount there being other games shown?

"Expecting final name, portable form factor and new Mario game today - but it's only a sneak peek. Lots more time before March release. #NX"

So are we now expecting more than Zelda and possibly Mario to be shown?

"A big indie team who brought their game to New 3DS but not original 3DS (sorry on vague wording, not hard to work out) have an NX dev kit."

Oh man, I'm really hoping we get one as Tom Phillips indicated he expects. But trying to expect only Zelda so I'm not crushed if therhe's not more than that shown.

I slept about five and a half hours. Now I'm up for the day and too excited to go back to sleep. Only three hours to go!

God I hope we get a good look at it and it's not too much of a tease...

The 'Run' video shows the Sheikah Slate's form factor very clearly. The way Link places it down on the surface to open the door...

I really do think the tablet handheld will look similar.

Then your 3DS must be defect because both my 3DS have almost exactly the same battery life than both of my Vitas. Only exception is rest mode in which the Vita beats the one of the 3DS by much more than a sixth.

I completely agree. I've thought this theory was a valid one throughout its many iterations of what it could mean the NX is. Now that we seem to have a very clear idea, it makes more sense than ever.
