PS4 PRO 4K native games (will update the list everytime there is a new game)

The OP mentions that YouTube on PS4 Pro will support 4K - which is good - but any word on whether Netflix and Amazon will? To watch 4K content on either of those, I have to use the apps on my TV. It would be so much easier if I could just the Pro to do it all.

I would assume they will support it, if not at launch, sometimes soon after. Not at home to check their recent updates to see if already patched in.

Netflix and Youtube 4K were both confirmed by Andrew House back on September 7th. We don't know when though.

Amazon, no clue.

They have updated their apps on Xbox One S for 4K/HDR so they totally will update the PS4 versions too. The install base is bigger, they'd be crazy not to.

Great, thanks. It's more Netflix I'm eager to get my hands on. Amazon's library of 4K content is really quite disappointing compared to Netflix, which has the likes of The Crown and Daredevil. Amazon has videos of the coral reef.

Cheers for the info.

Certainly not updated yet :( Hopefully will be ready for launch though. Being honest though I'll stick to my TV solution, why have another machine running when the TV can do the same thing?

If they update the apps, I'll just use the Pro for everything. I need not switch back and forth between sources, nor have to keep switching the LAN cable from PS4 to TV and vice versa.

Youtube already released an update to support PS4 PRO and 4K.

The main, potential advantages of streaming services on PS4 Pro is they have faster, more responsive and higher resolution user interfaces than the built-in TV equivalents which differ by tv but usually have an upscaled 1080p UI and aren't entirely snappy to control.

Trackmania's Pro patch just came out with 4K, no word on the solution used or if it's native. The patch notes just say "4k"

Sounds like you could use a cheap ethernet switch :)

Lol, this is pretty hilarious.

OK, guys, I didn't know if this is useful, not useful, should have it's own thread, be added to an existing one...etc. You guys let me know.

I created an online public shared spreadsheet which ANYONE who has the link can edit. I hope it becomes useful anyway. I'm sure some of the information is dated and can be updated, but it's a start. It is basically information about PS4 PRO and game titles for it.

Good idea?? bad idea?? Thoughts??

Sorry, new to this thread. Why aren't titles like Rise of the Tomb Raider and Infinite Warfare on the OP's list? Aren't those PS4 Pro enhanced?

Interested to see all the HDR enabled pro games more than the native 4K games. Anybody have a list?

No one knows the full list yet. In fact some game patches are released without knowing the changelogs. It is easier to know what games support Native 4K than HDR.

Need a list of big dumb baseless speculations with scant sources evidence to make myself feel better about the investment.

Fingers crossed for at least bare minimum IQ improvement on Nier and Persona 5, but I won't hold my breath.

I think there's more complexity to FIFA 17's resolution, but I need to see more high quality media to be sure.

Two questions:

Has anyone tried World of Tanks on PS4 Pro? Apparently it is supporting Pro with upgrades.

Also, is there a free demo of FIFA 2017 that can get the patch? I'd like to try it out in native 4K/60fps before I buy it.

Okay so I did find a Fifa 17 demo, downloading it now (8+ GB) and I'm hoping it includes the patch that supports PS4 Pro.

But he's acknowledged checkerboard on other games so why is he saying he feels this is 4K after pixel counting? If it's a mistake then you'd expect him to make the same mistake on all the previous titles he's analysed.
