But what does that really mean though? The idea of a Fox dispute barring characters is entirely (frankly almost non-sensical considering they're used all over the place in all of Marvel's online and mobile games) speculation. I'm not saying it isn't true, but I'm also thinking it's way too early to assume this is the case.

This is part of the X-Men/F4 video game ban that started after Contest of Champions came out. Nobody from those franchises were allowed to be featured or even directly referenced in post-CoC games. For example, Squirrel-Girl listed the villains she's defeated in Marvel Future Fight & explicitly skipped Doctor Doom.

Scarlet Witch will most likely not be allowed to join since she's co-owned by Fox movie-rights-wise. Capcom would have to beg harder than they did for Shuma to get her or Quicksilver.
