Icons are set up for another bg with a mountain, it looked really nice. But Tf2 is life.
And it's still readable enough.

Also got the Nova notifications showing up under the icons, so the main screen has everything I need.

I've been meaning to change mine for a while, I just set it to this album cover when I bought it and never bothered changing it (sorry for no actual screenshot, I only have a bus app, steam and chrome on my home screen anyway)

Pixel XL here. A couple things:

1. I despise the white circle motif they adopted. It's ugly, unnecessary, and makes the icons stand out like a sore thumb.
2. The wide open space at the top bothers me to no end.
3. The "tab" makes no sense because pulling on it takes you to google now but pressing it takes you to search. UX wise it's a mess.

I've tried Nova and ASAP launchers but they don't improve the experience. ASAP is close but I want to keep the long press feature of the Pixel Lquncher.

agreed

Also, don't even bother posting your iOS homescreens. But do post your lockscreen if you have an awesome background, lol.
Why? It's still our fucking homescreen, regardless of which OS we're using. But, yeah, you're right, let's take that logic and apply it boardwide - from now on, only PS4 owners can post in PS4-related threads, Xbone owners in Xbone threads, and so on and so forth. Let's watch the flow of conversation grind to a halt.

This whole 'lol fuck iOS' mentality is a fucking joke.

Take it easy bro.
I think you misunderstood what he was saying, I am sure he meant that all iOS home screen looks the same. grid of icons.

Perhaps we shouldn't get this upset over a phone OS.

I've been using Action Launcher which has something similar (double tap or swipe up). I can't recall if it is a paid feature or not

Spent a bit of time on it but I can never feel quite right with how I have my clock and such. I do like my icon set though (Glaskart), just gotta find the right wallpaper to match. Oh, and I use Nova Launcher personally, feel the most comfy with its feature set.

I get that, but it doesn't change the fact that iOS homescreens are generally boring because they filled with grids of icons (but for a lot of iPhone owners that's OK because the seek the comfort and familiarity, which Android doesn't offer unless you have stayed on stock for a long time). Obviously this is just my opinion, but I feel that's it popular one regardless. No need to get so upset. This isn't my thread I can't actually set the ground rules.

This is a gorgeous setup. In fact, I love everyone's screens. But the simplicity of this one would be the most comfortable for me to use as an everyday driver.
