I just don't get why the Switch gets a free pass for having limited software whereas other systems got crucified for their lack of software early in their life.
Probably because the software that is out there on the Switch is much better than the software that was out there for the other consoles, value wise?
BOTW alone is enough to justify it's purchase for most people.
MK is a remaster, true, but the game was released on an unsuccessful console and most people didn't have the chance of playing it. Doesn't hurt that it's the best MK ever made and it supports multiple configurations and 8 players without hassle.
For the rest of the year you have a sequel to Splatoon, a proper Xenoblade sequel and an adventure Mario game.
There's also new stuff like Arms and 1-2 Switch, and that's just first party, and we haven't had our first E3 yet.
