Has to be real, considering this was posted by Kojima two days later.

Maybe it's a PT-style teaser to be released tonight.

Nah. They released an image with what's on that shirt like a week ago. Furthermore, in the trailer from last year, Bridges was already written on Toro's shirt. I'm calling bs.

Does anyone know if they are playing the pre-show at the theater too? I'm confused on when I should get there, either 20 minutes before pre-show or 30 minutes before the actual conference. Thanks!

Here's a dream announcement that wont happen: City Shrouded in Shadow announced for the west.

Would be amazing if this was one of the japanese announcements Layden mentioned.

As we get closer to Sony's conference later this evening, I wonder if people will be as critical on Sony as they were with Microsoft. As redundant as it is to say, I do get reminded of one thing of when I watch Sony's conferences: Sony don't go out of their way to mention if some games are multiplatform; only if there is "Exclusive content" that will on their consoles.

Part of me feels as though that for any "Multiplatform" games that get shown off, some are going to blow it off and not raise as much hell over it as we saw yesterday. Definitely will be an interesting show though. Microsoft did set the bar high, question is what we'll see out of Sony?

Eh, what?

I don't think it'll be a full two hours. Especially if they go the route of last year where they cut a lot of the fat.

But maybe they plan on showing lengthy demos that bump up that time.

Seems like you are already trying to form the narrative in your head and will confirm said narrative after Sony's conference regardless of what happens.

I dont believe this is true at all. I find their messaging pretty easy (with some hiccups) and see the most outrage come from their use of "console exclusive" not counting PC as a console.

And the only high bar Microsoft set was in disappointment.

Uhm, the fact that every single conference are ranging from awful to mediocre so far, everybody is turning their eye to Sony, so yea, Sony has a very high bar *to cross. They are basically the last hope of E3 2017.

Do we still expect a Crash Bandicoot announcement during the pre-show, or was that the Coco Bandicoot being playable in all three games?

Going with my wishes here...

God of War returns to classic camera
Crash Team Racing for free with Crash remaster
Dualshock 4.5 with modern ergonomics
FFVII:R footage
The Last of Us 2 demo
Resistance
Ratchet and Clank
Devil May Cry 5
Phantasy Star 5

My guess is that none of this happens, but I'd love if it did.

If I ever post something in Japanese which I don't understand, please BAN me.
Someone on Twitter said the conference is only 1 hour. Can anybody else confirm?

Did you post this in another thread? I feel I just read this somewhere else and have no idea what you are getting at....Part of the dig at Microsoft was they really didn't have any exclusives, and the ones they touted, were mostly timed...People expected exclusives, especially with an updated console to show off to differentiate the platform

First, people were critical on Sony when they used "Console debut" during PSX so no need for you to remind us anything
Second, if what MS did like you said "set the bar high", they also "set the bar extremely low" with the comment about "Console Launch Exclusive" during YouTube E3 Live: "we don't want to stop games coming to other platforms". I mean wow, who can say that with straight face

Difference is Sony will definitely show some TRUE AAA EXCLUSIVES for people to talk about instead of bunch of B-tiered multiplat masked as "console launch exclusives"

If the other conferences were awful to mediocre, then Sony does not have a high bar to cross, lol.
