Like I said in the other thread. A Rollins cover would have made more sense a couple of years ago. He's not really that big of a deal now.

Plinko

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Pre-order now and receive the "Superstars returning from a Seth Rollins injury package". Power to the players

LOL

I was going to make a joke about how the disc would injure your console, but this is good, too.

Should've been THE MAHARAJAH JINDER MAHAL

Instead of the game telling you how to play during loading screens, it gives you diet tips straight from the man himself.

No footage of the game yet, but pretty confident I can look at some 2K17 footage and see exactly what you're gonna get from this game.

Good on them promoting their active talent that also happens to be the present and future for once. He's one of the better performers in the company. WWE is horrendous lately, this is finally a move I like from something associated with them.

Wrestling has fallen off a long time since I was a kid, huh? The people they used to put on game covers were household names.

Pretty sure Sony and MS aren't going to let Jinder tell you how to take PEDs and get away with it (although to be honest this would be a fun game feature).

Also I'm glad they aren't going retired superstar / part timer on the cover yet again. WWE should be using the cover to help build stars not remind people when the product was better.

A big part of the problem is that WWE still relies way too much on the household names from over a decade ago instead of making new stars. Case in point, this guy was the cover guy for last year's game

QFT. I've had a big issue with WWE for not trying to develop and push talent enough. And the times they actually do they tend to botch it(Roman Reigns)

Wow. They must be having a real brand crisis over there then if they can't make new household names and still pimp out the old ones for nostalgia points.

The last guy I remember hearing about is John Cena. Is he still there?

I just bought 2k17 yesterday, will buy this in a year from now. Also he hasn't been relevant since before injury, AJ styles should be the one to shine dammit.

They make more money than ever all while being less and less relevant. It's the weirdest thing. Their tv and ppv comes off as dying WCW level of creative, while having generally good matches. Their brand crisis is their brand is run by a 900 year old man.

Yeah he's still there but he's basically a part-timer now since he's getting close to retirement. Their next biggest "star" in Vince McMahon's mind is a guy who gets pushed like he's a superhero but gets booed out of 90% of the arenas they go to [Roman Reigns], while the guys who actually do get cheered usually don't get any kind of solid storylines. Oh, and the current WWE Universal Champion is Brock Lesnar - who's only been on WWE TV I think one time since winning the title at WrestleMania

And Vince wonders why Raw's ratings are hitting historic lows.

Vince doesn't want to make the next Rock or Stone Cold because he wants his talent to make money for him rather than go to Hollywood.

Cena's still there but he's slowly becoming a part timer

I hope hogan, Nash, sting, Scott hall, Goldberg are in the game so I can relive some wcw moments lol

Kevin Nash DLC: you have to pay $4.99 every time he takes a bump in the game

In the commercial for the game, Rollins is in an abandoned warehouse filled with WWE artifacts, among them Triple H's skull mask, Dusty Rhodes' boots, Ric Flair's robe, Bret Hart's glasses and The Undertaker's urn. As Rollins walks through the warehouse, he begins to destroy each piece of WWE history.

"The catchphrase for 'WWE 2K18' is to 'Be Like No One.'

Be a No One campaign.

Mid-way through, Repo Man steps out of the shadows, looks like he's going to object, then thinks better of it and slinks away.

AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN

... Hey, so Fire Pro release dates announced on Wednesday.

Still, this feels like the Punk cover. Do it after they lose all their steam.
