A married Kentucky teacher is accused of sexually assaulting an underage student while working as a teacher at two different schools, reports said.

Lindsey Jarvis, 27, pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape on Monday. She also was charged with rape, sodomy and unlawful transaction with a minor in Woodward County last Wednesday.

Keep sending them to jail for this shit and eventually people will slowing stop responding with "nice" and "would" reactions. If you had included her picture, I'm sure there would be a handful.

Damn I got shook at first when I opened the article... that lady looks exactly like a girl I knew in college. Thankfully it's not her.

Also, ew. Abusing her position of authority to have sex with a minor. No sympathy if they throw the book at her.

Because the rapists are usually young and white.

Imagine if a black teacher did this what sort of picture they'd use.

Young white criminals always get nice pictures.

Hope she doesn't get a slap on the rest due to her gender. Often times when it's a woman and the boy is underage, it isn't viewed nearly as harshly as opposed to the opposite.

Jail isn't going to make a difference. Some people have twisted urges, and those eat away at them over time. It'd be better if we ease the stigma off mental health, and get these people therapy. Find a less society-damaging release for these urges.

I don't understand why attractive women in their mid-late 20's so often sleep with young teenage students. In most of these cases that I've seen, the teacher shouldn't really have a problem finding hook-ups with other adults, so why the aversion to men her age? I'm sure there's some deep psychological impetus behind it, but it's still bizarre to me.

If it was a man they would not be using a flattering photo so that is also a key element.

These cases are super disgusting and it makes me wonder how many cases of this there are that go on silently without the offender getting caught

I don't get it either. Maybe it's a domination/control thing with the teacher/student relationship? Still, you'd think they could find someone their own age to do the same with.
