Joni Ikonen, Cale Fleury and Cayden Primeau seem to be the ones I'll look out for.

I'm most excited about Ikonen. I bet he fell to second round because of his height. He plays both Center and Right.

Canucks don't pick a dman until #95 and then go off the board to get another smallish dman. Then they trade down and with #135 get a draft+2 dman. 🤔

It also seems like they're too concerned with existing relationships. Benning admitted Dahlen factored into the Pettersson pick. The #95 pick is close with Demko. The #181 pick is another draft +2, 5"7 but close with #55 pick Gadjovich ("best friends").

They must see late draft picks as complete toss-ups so why not go with the feels. 😐

I like their first four picks, though, at least.

I think Benning is gonna top off all this good will by announcing a trade to acquire Sbisa from Vegas and a 8 year contract extension.

In a way, he's the exact opposite of Virtanen. Great hockey IQ but physically not ready. I have more faith in this pick.

Sakic has to be the worst GM. Duchene's name has been dragged through trades rumors for the last 2 years...No GM is stupid enough to give him what he wants.

Yeah real dumb to shop a guy who has made it clear he'd be fine with being traded.

But let me get this straight, the GM doing the shopping actually expects a fair return and hasn't resigned himself to making a shitty deal because every other GM in the league apparently thinks they have leverage over the situation?

Nah. And any deal offered on Duchene so far would've been met with "LOL FLEECED" nonsense here if Sakic accepted, but yet we should've just done it anyway.

I don't know. Mr. Fleeced himself (Chiarelli) seemed to be very highly rated for the best GM award somehow in the end. Explain this to me GAF.

Scouts were really high on Montreal's 2013 draft too. I remember the hype about getting Collberg and Thrower in the second round.

Espn if you pay for insider and want to hear from the two hockey people they employ now.

I dont know of any others, aside from a local Wild blog/site.

He was given a good team that did well and people thought it was on him?

I can't remember another GM that has traded away so many top picks...

So far, I think Yzerman has been doing a phenomenal job in Tampa and Detroit should've kept grooming him to take over.

eliteprospects.com is good.

The site is giving me some trouble right now atm but it is my alternative to Hockey's Future

He made some questionable decisions before but the prospect pool is legitimately great, he has a bonafide top-six center, a top defensive pairing that can go head to head against anybody in the league, and a great young goaltender. He's doing well.

Hopefully Poile flat-out stating that the top 4D isn't going anywhere will curb some of their delusional nonsense.

I'm happy with the Jets moves in the draft and leading up to it. We basically lost a guy who was on his way out (I'll still miss you Thorburn, regardless.) and drafted some more Finns and U.S. college players. Just sign us a goalie on the 1st and I'll be satisfied.

It's better when I put it on backwards, but I'm also thirty-six years old and look too juvenile. When I wear it forwards, it look okay from the front, but my profile is ridiculous.
