From the Heritage Foundation no less.

What else do you call offering to lift sanctions for damaging intel on your opponent. Now, that last part is not proven, but the smoke is thick as fuck and we all know that that is probably coming.

Oh, and also, even if that last shoe never drops and you say "but thats not Treason!!" It STILL breaks campaign finance laws by receiving material support from a foreign country.

Whether or not it's Treason is irrelevant to whether a law was broken.

Anyway, we all know your game, you are Bruce Springsteen Jr.

Yeah the likely sanctions talk while he was a nominee certainly seems like a Logan Act violation at least, bordering treason at worse.

So, NBC news had this piece on the Magnitsky Act of 2012 on Friday. The lawyer who represents Magnitsky's family was, uh, dropped off a building in March:

MOSCOW — A Russian lawyer who survived after falling from a fourth-floor balcony says his plunge was “no accident” and fears he was targeted because he found key evidence in a $230 million corruption scandal involving high-ranking state officials.

"I am still afraid for my life," Nikolai Gorokhov told NBC News in his first interview since surviving the 50-foot drop on March 21. "But of course I am more afraid about the safety of my family."

The lawyer says he remembers nothing about the incident, which left him with a fractured skull and sent him to intensive care, but now fears he may have been the latest target in a chain of killings surrounding the fraud probe.

Eight people who have been involved in the same case have died in mysterious or violent circumstances, while Gorokhov and another man have survived a combined three suspected assassination attempts.

Gorokhov, 53, represents the family of the whistle-blowing attorney Sergei Magnitsky, who died in a Russian prison in 2009. Magnitsky was a Russian lawyer whose death led to a bitter round of sanctions between Washington and Moscow, and led Congress to pass the Magnitsky Act in 2012. That law froze the U.S. assets of Russian investigators and prosecutors said to have been involved in illegal detention and death of the late lawyer.

The other guy mentioned in the bolded above is a Russian activist who has survived two attempts on his life:

Russian opposition activist Vladimir Kara-Murza wants such deaths to be investigated. He played a key role in support of the Magnitsky Act — a move that he alleges has led to two separate attempts to kill him.

When NBC News met Kara-Murza in Washington he was still frail from the second of what his doctors say were were two poisoning attempts.

He described the moment he said he realized he had been poisoned once again.

"It was about 5 o’clock in the morning, I woke up because my heart was racing and then I started sweating really badly and then I started having trouble breathing," he said.

"Of course I knew straightaway what it was because this was the second time in two years that this happened and it began almost identically in the same way," he added. "My organs were shut down one by one."

At the time, Kara-Murza was touring Russia screening documentary on his friend and late Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov. The most popular opposition leader in Russia and most prominent supporter of the Magnitsky Act was gunned down as he walked with his girlfriend in central Moscow in 2015 within sight of the Kremlin.

These sanctions might be more important to Putin than the Ukraine sanctions, based on the reaction.

Your edit didn't make it better.

When you have the facts, you don't need to resort to violence with liars. You expose them.

Ask the media to properly challenge her and expose her.

But wait, is it when you have the fact facts or the alternative facts? 'Cause I don't know what is up or down or what's what in this crazy, crazy world anymore.

I still think it's funny Trump thinks he is going to win against the proper media and investigative journalism. I mean yeah, his delusional deplorables are not going to listen to any fact facts, and they think Orange Drumpf is just sticking it to the man up the ass, so no violence, I just wish I could send a few of them up in space...

Correct me if I'm wrong but the 33,000 emails Trump is talking about in that tweet are the personal ones that Clinton deleted from her private email server. Not the ones from the DNC hack that Wikileaks *wink* Russia released. Just want to make sure we don't conflate the two like team Trump did all throughout the campaign.

Having said that, that tweet on the same day is too much of a coincidence. I still think that team Trump is stupid enough to assume that Russian hackers could somehow get those deleted Clinton emails (the ones he asked for during a press conference) because computer hackers can do anything if they just dig hard enough. I wouldn't be surprised if they were walking into that meeting with that being their goal.

They still want to undo Obama legacy. They tolerate it till they get their tax reform and health care repeal. At this point, they'll probably take either.

Remember, the GOP supported Nixon until that audio recording was released. Plus, the GOP didn't impeach him, Nixon left.

Who's to say what it would take for them to turn against Trump. I think a child porn charge would be the only thing.

The thing that will turn the GOP against Trump is when it becomes obvious that supporting/defending/turning a blind eye to Trump hurts them more than it helps. This is why Mid Terms are extremely important next year. It could be our best chance at getting rid of Trump.

Trump asked Russia to find her 33000 emails.

Literally.

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Mr. Trump said during a news conference here in an apparent reference to Mrs. Clinton’s deleted emails. “I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

Oh I know they wanted them and are dumb enough to probably ask for them in meetings like this. I wanted to mark the distinction (partially for my own clarity) between the 33k Clinton emails and the DNC hacked emails. They used this confusion on the campaign trail to their advantage a lot.

I agree thats how it would supposed to happen but looking at what's going on to date and in history, I remain skeptical. I have a feeling it would need to be a bigger scandal, one that the GOP can not deal with.

More on Algarov:

https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.for...an-billionaire-family-trump-ties-ongoing/amp/

In an exclusive interview with FORBES, Emin Agalarov—a Russian pop singer, real estate mogul and son of one of the country’s richest people—described an ongoing relationship with the Trump family, including post-election contact with the president himself.

Among Agalarov’s most striking claims: that he and his billionaire developer father, Aras, had plans to build a Trump Tower in Russia that would now likely be under construction had Trump not run for office; that he has maintained contact with the Trump family since the election, and has exchanged messages with Donald Trump Jr. as recently as January; and that President Trump himself sent a handwritten note to the Agalarovs in November after they congratulated him on his victory.

“Now that he ran and was elected, he does not forget his friends,” Agalarov says.

The Agalarovs’ ties to Trump stretch back roughly five years, when they expressed interest in bringing Trump’s Miss Universe pageant to Moscow. After a visit to the Miss USA competition in Las Vegas, at Trump’s invitation, they signed an agreement, eventually paying an estimated $7 million in licensing fees to host Miss Universe at one of their properties.

They don't really try and hide having Trump on speed dial.

And now the rather odd Steele deflection on Sunday by the WH makes sense.

I remember reading the FBI has already interviewed Steele. Not sure if he is still working with them though.

In the link I posted above, it's been reported that Steele gave all of his information to the FBI last summer. He only started the press tours when he thought the investigation was going no where. I'm certain that Comey and now Mueller have everything that he had.

Article. AP: The Latest: Publicist set up Trump Jr., lawyer meeting
A music publicist says he set up a meeting between a Russian lawyer and Donald Trump’s eldest son on behalf of a client in Moscow named Emin Agalarov.

In a statement to The Associated Press on Monday, Rob Goldstone says the lawyer said she had information about purported illegal campaign contributions to the Democratic National Committee that she thought Donald Trump Jr. might find helpful.

Goldstone says Trump Jr. agreed to squeeze the meeting into a tight schedule.

Trump appeared in a music video with Agalarov in 2013. The video was filmed while Trump was in Russia for the Miss Universe pageant.
Also, Susan Collins on the Senate Intelligence committee wants to interview Junior.
A senior Republican on the Senate Intelligence committee says the panel should interview President Donald Trump’s eldest son about a meeting he and other Trump associates had last year with a Russian lawyer to hear information about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Sen. Susan Collins of Maine told reporters on Monday that “our intelligence committee needs to interview him and others who attended the meeting” as part of the panel’s probe into Russian interference in last year’s election and possible collusion between Russian officials and the Trump campaign.

Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort accompanied Donald Trump Jr. to the Trump Tower meeting with Kremlin-linked lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.

Donald Trump Jr. said he was told the person he was to meet with might have information that would be “helpful” to the Trump campaign.

I don't know if we'll ever see it, but that Piss Tape is 100% real as far as I'm concerned.

I believe so and more. Trump says he can't resist women and has been friends with really seedy people involved in crude parties and underage ones, you think if some Russians or whoever lined up something, he wouldn't partake. I have my doubts. They know how to lure people to blackmail and Trump seems like a Predator of women. He couldn't resist.

I believe that Agalarov is the first person that ties any of this foolishness directly to Trump (well, I mean other than Kislyak, whom Trump was dumb enough to meet with in 'private' in the oval office).

He's directly friends with the president. He's spoke at length on camera about their friendship and their potential business dealings. He sounds like kind of moron.
