I like the look. Seems so weird that GAF liked that white Xbox One controller with the gold triggers, but doesn't like this white and gold scheme. Is it the best looking controller ever? Absolutely not. But this thread makes it seem like it's the worst one ever...

...you think the white and gold colour scheme is what people dislike? This is one of the laziest limited edition controllers I've ever seen. In fact almost all the PS4 limited editions have been mediocre, the MGS one is the only one I can remember looking good.

Now I know slapping a logo across the middle is unpopular, but let's be fair here. It's really annoying when you see an awesome custom controller, and then later you decide you want one, but have no idea what it was called. You won't get far googling "PS4 custom controller with like these blue bits on the side and uh a wavy pattern on the touchpad I think?"
Noone will EVER have that problem with this controller, noone could look at this and want it.

The same pattern that makes up the background the controller is in front of should have been ON the controller. This looks cheap as fuck, and I hope it doesn't sell well.
Do better, Bungie/Sony.
EDIT: This is so incredibly fucking lazy, my goodness. We could've had color themed controllers for each class for this game. Red/Gold for Gunslinger, Purple for Warlock, Blue/White for Titan. Seriously, who signed off on this basic bullshit???

Jesus, just make it symmetrical, stretch it around a bit, there you have a dual shock. Would have been so easy.

What a shitty low effort. They could've been creative and done a controller scheme based on the major weapon vendors. A bad ass black and white dead orbit with a matching design would've been nice. Instead we get this generic ass controller that looks like someone bought a cheap sticker pack and went crazy.

Man... they could've made like... one for each faction (I'd be down with Dead Orbit, though). I might still buy this controller because I'm stupid when it comes to controllers, (although moreso with Xbox controllers)

Holy hell that looks horrendous. I think I could make the exact same thing with a basic printed out stencil, a can of gold Krylon, and my white DS4. This is what passes off as "limited edition" controllers? I take back all the negative things I have said about the laziness of the Switch Splatoon 2 themed Pro controller.
In what universe was it bad? It is a glossy black design with colored buttons made to mimic Vader's chest piece. It accomplishes this perfectly. The only bad part about it is the STARWARS logo all over the touch pad.
