Former Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic has been caught up in one of the most bizarre stories of the transfer window.

Inter Milan striker Jovetic was on his way to Monaco to join the French champions and caught a helicopter from Nice airport to watch their game with Marseille.

But also on the helicopter was Marseille chairman Jacques-Henri Eyraud who did not recognise him, started a conversation and told him they were signing Jovetic.

Jovetic then revealed who he was, Eyraud lost his temper and angrily told him a medical had been booked and a deal had been agreed.

The right time to for Wenger to leave Arsenal was when we beat Hull in the FA cup final 3 years ago... I don't want to see him sacked but I can't see him resigning either

I'll give you Sanchez but Hazard is just Manè - the good looks + a load of diving.

1. Mané is to Hazard what Joe Allen is to Xavi

2.

check those curves m8 thicc as fuck, mané doesn't stand a chance

3. Hazard rarely dives, he just puts himself very easily into a position where he will be fouled. Mane tried that once but he actually ended up making a dive.

Hazard is better than Mane and Sanchez, but not by much. Hazard is more creative and way better dribbler, has terrific acceleration in final third. He has improved his shooting skills, and strength too. Mane is more power and pace, but lacks dribbling and creativity. Sanchez is better all-rounder but his decision making sucks.
It will be interesting to see how better Mane and Sanchez perform if they play regularly in good teams and with good coaches. Liverpool this year are pretty good so we might see best of Mane. Sanchez might join City or hopefully Chelsea so we could see best of him too.

Have a video on my phone from a league cup semi final second leg where Hazard is going down the touchline. Glen Johnson gets about 3 feet away from him and Hazard throws himself to the floor and screams so loud you can hear it over the crowd, through the tv. Johnson looks at him like "what the fuck are you doing".

Hazard is the worst player I've ever seen for that 'making sure his leg trails so he has something to go over' thing.

Anyway, I swear half the time Hazard just strolls around.

I wouldn't say it's half, like 20%, but that's when you know he's not in the mood and Conte usually subs him at this point.

Also, whilst every players probably done it a few times, the idea that hazard is some serial diver when he's kicked all game and is the most fouled player in the league amuses me. See an attacking player fouled a lot + doesn't play for your club/plays for a club you don't like = serial diver obvs

There's are divers in our team, although the two worst have gone, but hazard isn't some serial offender

Nah, he's the 'most fouled player' (pundits never shut up about that) becaus he gets a free kick whenever he wants. Any time he runs down a blind alley, he makes sure he manufactures the contact.

If hazard is the worst player you have seen for that kind of thing, then you haven't watched a lot of football. Of course he does go down easy, but compare to many others... Hell, we have to think no further than to other former Chelsea winger Robben. That man goes down as if shot, as soon as the opponent even thinks about making a challenge.

I could reply with links of vids of him diving but I'm too tired. So instead I'll remenisce about the time he kicked the ball boy. Cause that was funny as fuck.

Sign two players, sell everyone else. This year things are definitely different at Arsenal. Because it's worse than ever before! D:

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the two signings either sit on the bench or get played out of position.

😂 I'm sure the players on whichever team you support are complete Angels though and it's just big bad hazard at Chelsea who is the filthy diving scum

Chelsea can we have Willian too if Ox is his replacement?

Ox is wanted at RWB as far as I can see mentioned, maybe back up cm as well. We have the two behind morata where Willian is needed to compete with Pedro

Seems like a waste to play Ox at RWB, but it's hard to judge when were seeing him play it in Arsene's laughable version of a 3-4-3.

Well, he may have other plans for him but that's the main open spot for competition where he could reasonably push to take.

My guess is that he will have a few weeks on the bench while Conte gets him up to speed with what he wants (and wash away the arsenal) then he will get his shot

Assuming he signs that is

What good player in his right mind would want to stay at Arsenal now with Wenger and this board?

Have you seen the look on the players' faces on Sunday?

I wouldn't be shocked to see at least Alexis hand in a transfer request soon (I know it's rumored already) and even Ozil....

I can't believe our gutless board has left the club in this state..."catalyst for change"...fuck right off.

Arsenal have played relatively boring football for a while and it annoys the hell out of me anytime we come up against a weaker side and the commentators start going on about "beautiful Arsenal weaving their pretty patterns." It's not something that Arsenal should get credit for anymore. This isn't 15 years ago and Arsenal aren't special for passing the ball along the ground. During the long drought between 2004 and the first of Arsenal's most recent string of FA cups, I was perfectly accepting of being a middling side because of the MORAL VICTORY of always playing attractive football. This current Arsenal team hasn't done anything to deserve that distinction and I'm frankly bored to death most matches.

I don't even blame the players anymore. I firmly believe that Wenger is solely responsible for killing any inspiration and creativity the players might have, from strewing them all over the field in unfamiliar positions, to urging certain players to change the styles that brought them success in the past (telling Elneny not to shoot anymore, off the top of my head), to consistently benching our new players at the start of every season for the sake of adjustment.

I swear Arsenal are the only team that does this last point. Morata's already out here banging in a goal a week and Lacazette's coming off the bench. Every year we get a new, exciting player, they start on the bench or quickly find themselves on the bench for the sake of 'adjustment,' then they lose crucial early season time to mesh with the squad and gain confidence. Then they come on sparingly, never adapt to the rest of the team, make mistakes, never score, never win favor and lose any excitement they might have had for their new team (Peres Peres Peres).

Giroud is a saint for putting up with this every year. Personally I no longer blame any of our more creative players that want to leave or won't sign a new contract, They're being set up by the manager to look like shit, ruin their potential, and lower their market values,--that's if they can actually escape Arsenal.

Often when we sign a player they come out about how Arsene was a factor in their decision, but surely this is just a platitude at this point. These players cannot be excited to play for Arsene anymore. Even if that does still hold some cache, we're slowly getting to the point where any young, exciting player we want to sign wasn't even born the last time Arsenal won the league.

Remember when Arsenal used to consistently go far in the League Cup (and never win it) with kids?

At the time people thought they were seeing the future of Arsenal's title successes. We thought Wenger was going full youth development.

Pretty much all the good youth they've developed has left the club and/or isn't even English, see: Nasri, Fàbregas, van Persie.

Yeah, Arsenal aren't spectacular at bringing through academy talent anymore either. I used to watch all of the U18's highlights on Arsenal TV, but now the whole system is boring, from the bottom to the top. They're just going to be flogged off or disappear. What's the point?

Where's Zelalem at? Where the fuck is Zelalem, Weng(er)?

I'd love to see this Arsenal side with a Tuchel or Sarri

I know we have good players. We have some great players. Ozil can't possibly be as poor and uncreative as he's shown on the field for Arsenal lately. It's impossible. I think the excitement of any managerial change would really spark them back into life.

The silly thing is that he (as far as i'm aware) didn't need to. The money is sitting there. They just never spend it.

Only for the last few years, but you're correct now.

Fuck, being an Arsenal fan is frustrating. I feel like Liverpool have officially overtaken us now.
