Stood up and linked arms. I feel as though the kneeling before the anthem was done as a photo op than anything else. It just didn't feel genuine...especially when you were watching Jerry's expressions.
I guess it's better than what Cardinals team did...which was stood up the whole duration.

All of this depends on what they do after. At a certain point it doesn't matter if someone sat, kneeled, or crossed arms.

Look, not everyone is going to want to protest during the National Anthem. White people and other races just don't have the same stakes in the protest as people of color. They might agree that police brutality against people of color is an major issue and that racial injustice exist, but might take issue with protesting during the National Anthem. What players who chose to protest during the anthem and not participate wanted is to not be told they couldn't do it or be fired. And they at least wanted solidarity with those sentiments.
Not once did Colin Kaepernick ask any of his team members to join him in protest. Those were his personal convictions.

This was always about a black person daring to make a statement that America isn't the greatest fucking country in the world, which offended Trump voters who think America is a shithole that he needs to make great again. But he's not black so he's allowed to criticize, and reverse racism is worse than real racism (which doesn't even exist anymore because we had a black president).
I mean I'm sure that's what it was, but Jones could have been like some other owners and threatened them to do nothing.
Instead he showed solidarity with them before the anthem. More than I ever expected from him.

I think it still accomplishes a lot and is pretty powerful having all of them including Jerry Jones who m any were hating on just hours ago (and probably rightly so). If Trump and his blind supporters still attack the cowboys for this show then it really cements the fact that it is all about racism and not about the anthem at all, even if that is pretty clear to many people already.
