That said, still don't know who the heck Stalker is, or who Lotus really is and where she actually lives though.

No one really knows who the Stalker is, other than the fact that he hates us and randomly attacks us mid mission.

You find out who Lotus is in the quest Natah. She's basically a sentient who back in the day was tasked with overthrowing the Orokin Empire and destroying the Tenno.
But because she was sterile she grew attached to the Tenno, so she betrayed her own kind and took on the Tenno as her own children and became the Lotus.

I assume DE has a quest in development that'll shed some light on this then?

I did get the part where she was supposed to destroy the Tenno but grew attached to them, just like Margulis, but other than that I don't know. The way information was dolled out throughout the missions in cryptic ways made it hard for me to understand. Is it just me being slow on the uptake?

Also, that still doesn't explain where she actually lives. Don't spoil that for me if we eventually learn about it. It's just that it's weird how she shows up out of nowhere when you haven't seen her once in the ship up to that point.

I’d assume so, he’s a pretty big figure.
Maybe we’ll find out in the next cinematic quest, The Sacrifice.

Nah, I honestly rushed through the game In the beginning. I didn’t know who anything was. Not even the stalker.
I didn’t Hunhow was the sword, I thought it was just the stalker talking.
So when the operator comes out of the pod on Lua I’m like “why is there another stalker? Why am I controlling a second stalker?

Haha, that would be vandald (clan leader) and me (Berutoron ingame).
Oh, I'm not the clan leader. I'm just the only one at that rank currently in the clan. Our actual leader is the OP of this thread.

Still have no idea how both Stalker and Lotus show up on your ship. Our orbiters are basically space ninjas themselves, with some kind of super badass stealth technology, which is what lets us get in and out of missions so easily. I blame Ordis.

Lotus can show up because...well she's Lotus she is the one who gives us the ship (okay well Margulis more specifically) so I'd imagine that she gave herself ship authorization. Stalker can pop up because he's a warframe/operator maybe?

Ha, my bad. MR 24 though, whew. Are there many people above even MR20?

They look like manta rays though :p.

I hope the Gara quest is decent.

The last two Warframe quests I played were awful. The Silver Grove is probably the second-worst thing in the entire game.

Well I meant clan rank, not MR. I couldn't really say about MR. Past a certain point there's not too much benefit, and you can get by in the hardest missions with a very low MR thanks to frames not being locked behind mastery, and certain weapons like the Hek that are available very early. So there are probably a large number of people who just get a high enough MR to use a Tigris Prime or something, then stop caring. Having a higher MR is pretty nice for the base capacity though. Most of the time when I forma something that has a potato, I only have to take off one or two mods.

I can't think of a quest I enjoyed less than Titania's. I didn't really care for Harrow's, but it also didn't make me go around the solar system scanning plants.

At least Titania's quest gives you Titania and not just one of her blueprints. I could handle every quest being similar to hers if it meant I knew I was guaranteed all the parts at the end.

Hopefully getting Gara's parts isn't on the same level as Harrow or Nidus.

It's so bad.

It's like the Sands of Inaros quest, where you leave and return to the same place to get some backstory on a warframe, except every part of it is also COMPLETE GARBAGE.

By the way, the actual worst thing in the game is that one archwing pursuit mission

Can't say for sure, but there will probably be one rare part you have to find. Regular warframes are sort of taking on the quality of Prime farming.

personally I hope all her stuff is on the Plains as an incentive to explore it.

It seems LOGICAL that's what they'd do, but who knows how long they've been working on her, she might have had a quest line on the back burner for a while. Although I hope they would have adapted it to the Plains.

I somehow had a ton of those plant scans by accident, so I had to do minimal work to get that quest done. I'm still not looking forward to when I get motivated to farm those specters that show up, I might just live without those mods.

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
I hope the Gara quest is something completely stupid like you need to shoot your own reflection because it’s been infested.

Lotus, "You can only gain Gara's immense power if you can overcome your most powerful foe... yourself."

*smash cut to your current frame being reflected in a mirror that breaks, showing Gara on the other side*

Took me 15 runs, but I finally got the Mesa neuroptics.

Now I have to wait 3 days and pretty sure POE is coming out tomorrow...

Yeah, now you mention it, if her parts were scattered on the plains I think that would be quite good.

Just having to do the same mission multiple times, each time to rotation C just isn't fun imo. But running around getting her parts from enemy drops all over the plains would be good.

after how much of a pain in the ass the mastery 9 test was, mastery 10 was hilariously easy.

in my rush to get enough ducats to buy Primed Flow before I left to visit family a few days ago, I managed to get everything for Tigris Prime. Only to realize I needed to be Mastery 13 to craft it, ugh.

I did get some other fun stuff on the way like Helios Prime. It was funny watching everyone scramble to select my relic reward as I was using a bunch of old keys with vaulted items. I honestly have little concept of what is valuable in this game but random folks seem to have a keen sense of what is worth a lot.

I did manage to get almost the entire Ash Prime set from my old keys. Just missing Systems I believe. I should probably try and buy that.

The mastery rank tests are kind of all over the place, difficulty wise.

The systems is of course the most expensive piece. I got mine through Radiant Relic shares on the system. Took about 4 keys from me, which was kind of bad luck.

Respectfully disagree.

The Index stuff was alright and also Glast is a true bro. Its unfortunate that his syndicate hates me.
Yeah, Perrin and Loka (edit, my damn autocorrect) hate me, but Glast is a cool dude.

Doing the syndicate related quests with a faction that hates you is always interesting. I finished Octavia's Anthem, but as I was walking out the cephalon muttered that I was a complete waste.
Bitch, I just saved you from being assimilated!

Yeah. That happened to me with New Loka and Perrin. It's a bit weird, but it would've been a lot worse if they required you to be friendly with a syndicate before taking their quest.

well those lua challenge rooms were a pain in the ass but we got em done. What a ridiculously obtuse thing to gate story stuff behind.

Arca Plasmor finished building and it seems pretty fun. Forma'd Trinity Prime too. I should probably start working on getting her augment mod, I just randomly picked cephalon suda early on because I was using Hydroid, but Trinity is what I liked then and what I like now.

I'm coming back to Warframe after a few years and I've been having quite a bit trouble understanding all the new features and systems they've added in the time I was gone. It's been a bit rough but I'm finally starting to get the hang of things. There's still stuff I don't fully understand but I'm getting back in the groove and having fun with the game.

Reached this milestone today

This is probably not a big deal for many of you guys but this was actually the highest mastery level you could even reach back when I stopped playing.

I stopped playing last year and came back to the game over the summer and it is crazy how much it changed, I can only imagine how nuts it is for you after that long of a break.

Hey guys,

I'm a complete noob trying to reach Phobos. I've been looking for Cephalon Fragments to scan on Mars missions, with a maxed Thief's Wit to help me find them, yet after a few dozen repeats I have yet to find one. It's quite obvious now I'm doing something wrong because I do find them in other planets. So... any help?

so I need to finish War Within in order to do everything in POE, right?

My friend and I just unlocked it last night and will try to power through it. Free Soma Prime from Twitch will help him a LOT as he's still a new player, I just carried him through a lot of stuff.

Yes everything, but that said the area is designed for all levels. Garas quest is going to be easy access for example.

Shit I need to do the War Within tonight. But I need to do the Sedna Junction first, and that means I have two principle room challenges left to do (don't even know how/when I got the first one). I have no idea what they look like/how you can find them easily, and I hear they're a pain, so I'm not looking forward to that.

What time zone are DE in? Trying to work out of I can actually get a look today or whether I'll have to wait until tomorrow cause I'm in the UK.

They're EST right?

As I mentioned above, we did these last night and it was a pain in the ass. We tried the laser and pipe organ ones multiple times but it was unclear what we were doing wrong.

We eventually just did the Exterminate mission over and over until we got easy rooms like the cooperative one - we only had 3, but the clan guy helping us had Loki to stand on the fourth pad. Hardest part was trying to teach my friend to finally do a vertical bullet jump, lol. "I don't have enough fingers for this"

And yeah, both of us started at 1/3 as well. We definitely didn't have any Drift mods, so we weren't sure why.

I did the stealth test and the Agility test as my 2 extra challenge rooms. Both were easy and the more annoying part is just getting the rooms to spawn/finding them.

I watched a youtube video on how to run through the stealth test then I just followed the guide on the wiki for the Agility test. You can alt-tab out freely between each step for the agility test as it's not timed or anything.

Haly

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
I've yet to complete endurance test, finding the room and also 3 people who are kitted out for it and know what to do is impossible.

Hell I don't know the optimal strat for it!
