Such an incredible voice for the consumers, haven't watched his stuff for a while but there was a period where I wouldn't buy a thing without watching his WTF is... on it first.

Yea that can't be understated enough.
Those little annoyances of when you get a new game and your fucking around for hours trying to fix whatever issues it might have. He probably addressed them in a review with a fix or explained what it was to a good context.
As far as his reviews went, he gave me exactly what I wanted. No bias or slants to something that would be interpreted differently to each person. He just gave the facts of how well it ran, options, sound design etc etc.
The guy was straight to to the point on the only shit that mattered. Thinking about it now, He probably saved me over £1000 from buying either shitty ported games or hardware.
And his work has never really strayed from that path over so many years.
I really will miss this lads work.

I fell out of touch with TB when he started getting more political and trolling more on Twitter but still kept up to date with his WTF videos and quick looks at new games. I've been watching the dude since his very early days on Youtube and was always drawn to his honest but blunt opinion on things. His looks at LoL got me to try it out during it's first season and I spent a great deal of time enjoying the game thanks to him.
Say what you want about his views, but the man played a big part in the gaming review process (through YouTube), in forcing developers to listen to the consumer, and in the general discussion around the culture. I hope the co-optional podcast manages to carry on without him and I hope his influence lives on despite any less-acceptable views he may have had. We all say and do stupid things at some point in our lives, anyone who says otherwise is a liar.

I have been rewatching a lot of TB content and there really isn’t another like him. His reasoning was sound and had thought behind it. He was clear in communicating ideas and he had a good sense of humor. I’m going to miss this guy.

They absolutely deserve to be exposed for their horrendous people they are. I was blocked by Liz after calling out her ignorant/hypocritical statement, which she then used as an "example" of how the "fanboys" of John Bain are attacking her.
Funny thing, I am not even a huge fan of TB. He had a few good things that I enjoyed watching, I liked his Cataclysm coverage, and I disagreed with him often - but making claims and insulting a man so soon after his death? It lacks tact and respect - though what was I thinking expecting those traits from anyone who works at Waypoint. I sent in a few complaints, but I am unsure if anything will come of it.
That was... difficult to watch. Very respectful and kind words to say.
Austin walker liked the tweets from her and told everyone he did it because it resonates with him.

Having just last year lost my own Mom to the same cancer, I feel this one. Wasn't really a fan ever, but did watch his content on occasion. Actually stopped following him exactly because of the similarity to my Mom's situation which was hard enough. RIP man, and all my condolences to his family and friends.
