Just replayed the GBC version a couple months ago, right before the initial announcement, oddly enough.

Game still blows my mind. What they did with the available tech back in the early nineties is supernatural.

So there are bottles now? Does this mean you don't have to rely on the elixir/ointment? If so that seems to make the game much easier than before. :messenger_sad_relieved:

I like the dungeon making! Could you share designs online? I assume you can assign bosses and minibosses, right? This is probably going to replace the color dungeon isn't it?

God dammit Nintendo...

WHY did they had to choose so stupid and childish art style :(

I dislike it so much that not going to buy it. Looks like some cheap flash browser game or something in those chinese 100 in 1 handhelds

I need a switch. Games are building up now in far as regards to ones i want to play. Obviously, the 3 Zelda games mainly plus one or 2 others. Damn why do they have to cost £270!? :messenger_sad_relieved: i just want the games not the console :messenger_grinning_sweat:

LA was my first Zelda and has always been just behind OOT for my favorite. I have a slight preference towards 2D for Zelda -this remake could make it my favorite one of all time, at least until BOTW with dungeons comes out.

Day one.

I've been talking about a Zelda maker for years... and now they've included it in Links Awakening???
Hopefully its popular enough to get a full fledged Mario Maker upgrade at some point.

A Zelda maker makes even more sense (and would be even easier to do) than a Mario Maker. To be honest, I'm kind of bummed that we aren't likely to get more "AAA" 2d Mario games any time soon.

Me too! I still go back to playing the 2d Mario's every time Mario Odyssey is brought up lol.
With Zelda maker they could explore all the great top down games for visuals, bosses... playable characters??? I wanna play as sweet Malon and fuck shit up.
Play through friends dungeons would be a great start, online, saved favorites.

This trailer sold me more on this game than the reveal trailer did. The music in this game sounds fantastic and the art direction really does shine here.

Link's Awakening: Chalice Dungeons Edition.

Not sure if I'll spend much time sharing maps, but playing random ones? Oh yes. I wonder if maps can be shared across save files on the same system.

Color dungeon is back, baby! :messenger_sunglasses:

The dungeon builder looks cool, but what they said about having to use pre existing tiles from the real dungeons is a bit disappointing.

I'm looking forward to this.
