The crazy thing about this is that this is not some specific screenshot with a free camera took by someone or anything, it's actually a cutscene, they straight up show you this fullscreen in a cutscene lol. Such a weird choice.FF13 Lightning returns (ps3/360/pc looks no better)

Thank you for this, reminded me to redeem The Show on PS+Perhaps not exactly what you're looking for but this is the single most off putting thing I've seen come from a video game . It's a graphical glitch from one of the MLB The Show games.

This looks gorgeousMicroid's Iznogoud for Playstation is one of the worst looking platform games i've ever seen. Its really awful, and one of those games where you never know if you can stand in a platform or it is just part of the background.
Yeah, the same Microids that will bring the probably-crappy remake of XIII.

Another terrible game for Playstation was Taxi 2, the official game of the movie. Its quite probably the worst racing game i've ever seen (not counting unfinished games like Big Rigs).
The game had poor graphics, terrible handling (it was the quintessence of the sliding ice block handling), the rival car glitched in and out of the screen (no matter your driving performance) and the FPV just removed the car from the screen, it wasnt even a different POV. And, on top of that, it was really hard!
The obscure PC version was a lil bit better.

Its just an ugly game in general. From the landscape to low poly character models. I enjoyed said game but it is an eyesore. A console first party game shouldn't look like this.

I had a blast with it tbh. It's was ugly as fuck, but I mean it was knockoff Pokemon with an actual story. IIRC this evil wizard fuck unleashed hell on the landscape and you had to capture his minions, befriend them, and make them fight in a battle against him in the end. The game was never finished and is considered shareware/abandonware. You mostly played a demo and there was (AFAIK) never a full release. I still have the game since I reached out to Thom a long ass time ago (2015) and asked for a copy. He was happy to provide it.

No, the graphics are not due to an "art style." They're due to original programmer art that stuck around and never got replaced with something better, so any new elements have to confirm to the original work.

Honestly I like Minecraft, I had so much fun with it back in the day and some of the landscapes it could generate were amazing, I loved exploring those amazing worlds. For new games I nominate Conan Exiles. I played a shit ton of this game because it was free on PS+ but i honestly don't know why. it's basically a survival + crafting game in the Conan universe, but the game runs like dog shit and looks pretty bad even on PC. I'd be pissed if i spent money on it. It's one of those games, though, where you can see the game they wanted it to be and if they could have just gotten there, it would have been amazing, but as it stands it's shit but somewhat addicting. Also, can see boobies and ass and the Euro version can see dong and vajayjay when naked, lol. I'm from prudish America though, so...only topless chicks for me...but let's just say all my player characters were chicks.

Agreed. Halo 3 could be beautiful at moments, and was generally nice looking.
What the actual fuck went wrong with this character, I don’t know. Even the shirt is all kinds of messed up.
