Official Update:
Now its official

Sources: The Last of Us 2 Delayed To Spring:

The PS4 sequel to The Last of Us will no longer be out in February, sources tell Kotaku. Publisher Sony has delayed The Last Of Us Part II to this spring, just a month after announcing a release date of February 21, 2020.

The news isn’t official yet, and Sony didn’t respond to a request for comment yesterday, but Kotaku has heard from two people familiar with goings-on at Naughty Dog that the game is bumped to spring. We expect an announcement this week.

I'm a bit disappointed but good that they are not releasing the game unfinished.

The first one sold well over 17 million copies. It isn't remotely close to DoA if it releases near Cyberpunk 2077. In fact, I'd say it's more likely to hurt PS4 Cyberpunk sales.

17 million is PROBABLY more than DoA.

Like, as a series plus spin-offs, even.

Nah. Very few will stream the game. Very vew will make YT videos about it.
It's all about Cyberpunk 2077. That will hurt the reach and legs.

Yawn! After the reveal that Ellie's story will be about love. Lesbian love with Dina (and Joel) I think I can wait for this just fine.............

At this point, they should just make it a PS5 launch title.
Nah, they can sell a lot of copies on the PS4 AND attract other people into buying a PS5 for better graphics and higher fps. It would have to be early decision to make it a PS5 game to fully captalize on what it can do.

As much as I loved and enjoyed the LoU1. However, if it even releases remotely close to Cyberpunk, I will just wait for the PS5 rerelease.

bomba, this is going to bomb so hard this cinematic "game".
Translation: I want this game to bomb so hard purely out of spite, even though there is no real indication that it will. Even despite how well received and commercially successful the first game was.

Get a grip lol

Apparently Ghost of Tsushima got pushed into later half of 2020 as opposed to being planned for the first as Schreier also reported.
