Most Disturbing Videos We've Seen On The Net

davidjaffe

The Fucking MAN.
So we had a rather lengthy-and disturbing/fun/strange- chat on THE JAFFE STREAM the other day about the most disturbing shit we've seen on the internet.

This is that conversation.

No matter how old I get, I can't stop being fascinated by the gross/weird/disturbing parts of life. I'm 48 years old and know very few others my age who talk about this stuff. It makes me wonder: am I broken to pieces or do all the other 'responsible adults' around me think about this shit too, they just keep it to themselves?!? :)

Ps- ZERO images or video on this video...it's just us talking. Don't worry- I wouldn't spring nasty videos on anyone. Hell, I don't even watch them. I just like talking about them!

I don't like watching disturbing real life videos but I'm happy to read and hear about them. I'll check your video out laterish.

When I first got the internet in the 90's I tried to find the worst stuff just to test my limits, I found it. Now don't need to talk about it anymore.

I think that's the difference: other then rare occasions- when I stumble upon it by accident- I never watched it. It just sounded too horrible. Perhaps what I see in my mind is way worse than the way it really is? But when I hear people describe some of this stuff, I dunno how that's possible...

It is usually worse in your head. But as this was a long time ago, low quality pictures and videos probably filtered a lot out. Then you find something really horrible that takes a good hour or so to get out of your head.

The drug cartels just keep on raising the game.

I remember back in the late 90s when I was an early teen I’d go to websites like rotten.com and even pretty mild pics and videos would really have a lasting affect on me.

Today I can casually view things that are much much worse and and brush it off pretty quickly. It does affect me but I usually think “welp, didn’t need to see that” and immediately move on.

Two girls one cup. We all know what it is, let's not lie to ourselves.
Also, rotten website. It was the edgiest website ever with real pictures of mutilated people, car accidents etc.
Nowadays I don't search for content like that. But I used to back in the 90's. Not that I liked them but I was a curious little boy.

Seen some pretty gruesome war/cartel footage on the internet as a kid.
Saw one dude getting executed by a mortar gun close range and blown to literal pieces. And another one of a cartel beheading a rival cartel member with a chainsaw.;

That was enough internet for me and i have no interest in seeing it as an adult. The internet just numbs you to this horrible shit.

That chinese video from ?China? harvesting human fetus tissue or the one where they kill dogs for meat. I wasn't even looking to see this but some son of a bitch spammed it on another board as a webm. Makes you really think we are just...meat at the end of the day.

I've been into true crime for a long time and have also gone through a few morbid curiosity moments when it comes to watching real life things - like I watched that 1 Lunatic 1 Icepick video at one point and watched a few other things on Bestgore but I've never gotten into it too much. I think it's kind of normal to have morbid curiosity - I guess the ones that I would worry about are the people who seem to get REALLY into it like in a crazy way or get off watching people die and so forth.

Thanks to Twitter and Co. it is unfortunately too easy to see some disturbing shit these days. Without having to search much for it you can watch all kinds of killing (from shooting to slowly cutting off the head of living people and much more).

Which I personally like to watch, because it's just interesting and you can learn a lot of things, are videos from JCS. They are rarely about visual violence, but more about the psyche of murderers, while seeing lots of original footage of interrogations, the crime scene, etc..
There are also some other interesting videos about the military with many explicit scenes (sniper hits, shots of people walking into a mine, losing body parts and being treated etc.). But these are not just some 10 minute click bait videos, but longer videos that are more like a documentation. This is high quality stuff and most of the videos are only available on Patreon for 1$ per month, so it's really worth it.

Even if you have only rudimentary interest in such things (psychology, crime investigation, seeing real interrogations, ...), you will not regret it. That much I can promise you.

I'm so torn. It really does sound fascinating. But I can't imagine I'd wanna walk around with those images in my head, you know?

Just watch a few videos on his YouTube channel. I suggest watching "The case of Chris Watts - pt. 1" and if you like it, then just continue to watch the other parts or other videos. All videos on YouTube are G-rated. On patreon videos are specially marked if they contain above average violence. All of the videos are primarily about the psychological aspect and not about brutality per se. That's just a part of it every now and then, because that's the world we live in.

Don’t need to see that shit, my friends and I went through that phase in our late teens/early twenties. Prior to the net, at that time we had “Faces of Death” VHS tapes, though I’ve heard they’re fake.

Never really understood the appeal of watching other people suffering in the most horrific of manners, but to each their own I guess. Have no trouble watching disgusting videos of people getting off though (2G1C).

Thanks for the good games.

I once stumbled upon a video of a man who got electrocuted while working on a power line. How quickly it all went down horrified me to no end. At that moment, I decided not to pursue a career as an electrician lol.

While I've never seen the Dnepropetrovsk maniac's video, I heard a few seconds of the audio on the Sword & Scale podcast. It was honestly a mistake and wish that I could somehow wipe my memory of it.

Stuff from ogrish back in the day, nasty beheadings and stuff, people getting eviscerated by shotguns etc.

The thing that's made me the most uncomfortable though was some clip from a movie about some East Asian country doing messed up stuff to some minority population. Honestly I have no idea which one, maybe Japan in WWII, or China. Anyway they have some people chained up outside in below freezing weather, continually pour water on their hands, then take them inside and thaw them up, hit the hands with some implement and they just turned into mush. Never got that image out of my head.

If not the previously mentioned cartel stuff, probably 1 lunatic 1 ice pick, the guy was Luka Magnotta who's the subject of that new Netflix thing Don't Fuck With Cats.

...depicting a naked male tied to a bed frame being repeatedly stabbed with an ice pick and a kitchen knife, then dismembered, followed by acts of necrophilia. The perpetrator uses a knife and fork to cut off some of the flesh and gets a dog to chew on the body..

Forgive me if I sense annoying condescension radiating off your message. Perhaps it's because you automatically assume the desire to even consider watching these sorts of videos comes from a place of wanting to see people suffer. And then capping it off with the passive aggressive 'to each their own'? Kinda dickish, pal.

And THEN you couldn't even just be pure passive aggressive with it. The whole 'I guess' that your threw in after 'to each their own' just makes it clear there's nothing passive at all about your message. You're just kind of being a smug, judgey dick.

Anyway, I DON'T watch the videos- as I say in my video- because I think they are too disturbing. But I AM fascinated by them and NOT because I want to see people suffer. It FASCINATES me how cruel people can be to each other; it fascinates me how freaked out we are by death and dead bodies (when many- from western psychologists to eastern Tibetan monks- suggest there is huge value in meditating on the dead and even literally NEXT TO rotting dead bodies in order the make the concept of impermanence resonate with the living). And besides ALL of that, there's something just enjoyably horrible about these forbidden, awful acts that are terrifying and at the same time terribly interesting.

So, you know, that's why I'm interested in all this.

Goodness gracious, that sounds utterly horrific. And we're not even 100 years removed from that. Amazing how we've not really evolved all that much, no matter how modern, sophisticated, and kind we act when everything is going our way. And these horrible things we are capable of, it's not even the pure animal side of us that causes it. An animal would just kill you and get on with its day. But we have an animal side that gets mixed with a very human childish/mean/cruel streak. And that- to me- simply terrifies. I so hope we evolve out of this shit much sooner than later.

I wasn't judging you, if that's the way it came off then you have my apologies.

But the fact is, if you're going to bring up this subject you do know there's an entire population of people out there who get off and enjoy this type of material in watching people suffer? I'm not sure where you see me insinuating this about you specifically? I was speaking in general terms towards the broader topic, which is odd you'd bring it up and then take offense when someone makes the point. If you wanted to watch the videos, no, I WOULDN'T judge you for it, because I actually share(d) in the same fascination as you do. Which is why I stated that there was a time I watched these videos myself in my younger days. But it's a fascination that, for me, has been satisfied, and the appeal has hence faded.

If people want to watch them, then that's their decision....i.e., "to each their own", alongside "I guess"......which means I don't much give a fuck either way. That's not condescension or passive aggressiveness, it's a fact, and one that does not involve you. If my complimenting you on your work gave you that impression, that was not my intent, only a footnote to convey my appreciation towards your craft.

Well I do appreciate the clarification. For what it's worth, I would/did take it as an insult/swipe to suggest I enjoyed people suffering. I don't. Not at all. But I DO very much find exploring (in my case, from a safe distance) the darker corners of life very interesting. There's a stigma associated with wanting to peel back the niceties of society in order to get to the 'real' stuff and I imagine it's because some folks assume the desire to peek into the shadows comes from a mean/mentally disturbed place (and because people would rather not acknowledge this dark side is really there, in all of us). One of the ways people who are curious about this stuff get push back is they get shamed for their interest. I assumed that is what you were doing. Glad to find that is not the case.

And thanks for the kind words about our games :). Appreciated!

The worst one i seen was when isis slaughtered around 1500 Yazidi boys/men in Syria.
They lined them up the the end of a pier on a river, then walked them of the edge with a bullet to the back of the head. Over 1500 killed in the space of 30 minutes.
Islam is sick, i don't care what any one says.
The cartels recently have also been getting particularly savage by cutting people up limb by limb with blunt knives.

Yeah, i've seen some shit i wish i didn't. I don't do it anymore.

/r/watchpeopledie had some dark disturbing shit until it was shut down. It migrated elsewhere but I’m not sure where.
If you want to watch this kind of thing go to 4chan, adult gifs and look for a rekt thread.

I'd be going to therapy too man after seeing what they've done to Kratos in the new god of war.

Come on- they made a game that MANY consider the game of the generation. I've not played it yet but it sounds like a fucking fantastic title.

I DO wish we could make some old school GOW still and who knows, maybe a throwback will make sense a few years down the road. What's old is new again, and all that :).

The Men Behind The Sun. And yes all that stuff really did happen. Japanese were just as bad as the Nazis. The most damnable thing about all of it is the allies let most of those scientists go free in exchange for the data they gathered during their human experiments.

Hmm.

Worst thing I ever stumbled upon was one of the videos that came out of Chechneya. Some of you might have seen them.

Horrid shit.

Wouldn't mind rocking some tables back and forth again.

For this thread... Gore- no thanks.

Revently- Don't Fuck with Cats documentary was disturbing.

People in China getting run over and no one cares.

Seeing the aftermath of robbers attacked with a Katana.

There are videos I'll never be able to delete from my brain. So I don't go looking.

In the early, wild west days of the internet, I once stumbled upon a video. Let me paint the scene:

- Close up of a plank of wood.
- A man walks into view, naked.
- He places his nutsack on the plank.
- He cuts his nutsack open.
- He carefully lays out his testicles one at a time with the vas deferens still attached.
- He picks up a hammer and a nail from out of shot.
- He proceeds to nail straight through one of his testicles into the wooden board.
- He repeats this act with the other testicle.

Other than that, the Japanese camping toilet video which I mentioned in another thread comes to mind.

One of my mates posted a video on Facebook without any description.

It was of some guy jumping off a cliff with the intention of landing in the sea. Instead he hit a rock and split his head in half. Just horrific.

My mate got banned from FB for a bit as a result.

Me and my son gave up on the "I spit on your grave" remake. We both looked at each other part way through and were like, yeah, that's enough of that.

Had some friends that liked to check this shit out when I was in my early teens. I never searched for it personally but I've seen things.

Stuff on Ogrish.com when it was around.

Pain Olympics comes to mind, bunch of dudes mutilating there genitals. Hammers, nails, knives.

Seen a beheading video.

The old short of some Russia Soldier getting a knife to the throat with a knee on the side of his head.

A very much still alive pig being hacked up with a chainsaw.

1 guy 1 jar.

Ah, memories of early internet browsing days :(

It's not the worst video video I have ever seen,
but it was a beheading video with people speaking Russian or some similar language where they started from the middle and went downward through the arteries and wind pipe first. The guttural and gurgling sounds the man made as his head was being cut as he was still able to make vocal noises haunts me to this day. I can remember the sound vividly. I can hear it in my nightmares sometimes. Those fucking sounds man. I'll never be free of them.

Here’s a couple recent ones I saw. My descriptions are on point so don’t click if you don’t want to read it.
  • cartel execution, man laying face up with all the skin on his face ripped off so you could only see red, eyeballs plucked out, still alive, waving his hands in the air (showing how strong his will to live was), both arms cut off at the wrists, while the executioner slowly sawed into his neck with a small knife, very slowly taking his head off. It was just a little tiny knife, not even the size of a steak knife, so it took a lot of work to get the head off.
  • A man on the ground outside with all limbs removed so he was only a stump, still alive, with a dog eating his genitals.
