Easiest 90+ metacritic score in gaming history. I will be genuinely shocked if it doesn't get 10s across the board from mainstream reviewers. They are nothing more than hype merchants for this type of game. Look at them, starting it already.

Mainstream reviewers can make $10k or more writitng a mock review during development from big pubs, so yeah...

Plus, ND focus tests the shit out of their games. It will hit all the right notes for their target demo(s). If you are in that demo, you’ll love it, if not, then you wont. They make sausage for mass market and 20-30 year old middleclass journos from the West, not idiosyncratic art.

Exactly what I thought, I told people in the threads time and time again that we only know out of context videos with information that couldn't be verified. People are fucking crazy when their POV gets validated regardless of the informations validity.

I said in the spoiler thread that I will have to play and see how I feel about certain parts of the game. I even said in the spoiler thread that it will be a bad ending if it ends a certain way.

You on the other hand were in the spoiler thread agreeing with just about every negative point about the game.

I think it will be a good game based on information I gathered from the spoilers. That is my opinion. I'm not the one going around saying if it reviews poorly, they're anti-SJW or homophobic. You on the other hand are saying it will score well just because it's catered to SJW.

I'm going in this game with an open mind and I really can't say the same thing for you.

I dont know the leaks but I did see the trailers and what Neil said. It's 100% filled with woke shit. Dont be ridiculous. That doesnt mean its going to be shit or I wont be playing it. I'm 100% in.

Bottom line is if some of you guys don't like what this game is doing then stick with your "principle" and talk with your wallet regardless what score it get in reviews but don't be shocked that other people do the same and buy the game because they are genuinely excited.

The major leaks happened on April 26th.

During this time, the fake plot summaries started to surface. One leaked cutscene seem to have confirmed two of the fake plot leaks and that's when shit started to really hit the fan.

How bad were the fake plot leaks? It was so bad that I even said the game's story was awful.

It wasn't until the following day that we started to get conformation that the plot leaks were fake. By this time, the damage has already been done. A week has gone by and I still see people talking about the fake leaks.

The problem that I have is that many YouTubers have made videos based on the fake leaks and they were responsible for spreading bullshit throughout the gaming community.

The leaked footage is not faked. But the plot bulleted pointed outlines are inaccurate as they only take what was shown in the footage and build/speculate on top that.

I hope that getting copies this early and finishing it way ahead of time will allow reviewers some distance to more accurately give their thoughts on the game. It’s easy to get hyped and overlook all sorts of problems because something is new and novel. It’s only when you settle into it that you can really judge if it’s good or not. A second playthrough can usually help mitigate this as well.

I thought The Last Jedi was good when I first saw it. A week or two later, having given it some thought and the glamour having worn off, I realized it’s a bad movie.

I can’t trust the opinions of most critics nowadays. Regardless if it gets great reviews, I won’t be picking up a copy until PS5.

I have learned to stay away from mainstream gaming media, especially in terms of reviews. Perhaps it would be are good idea to compile a list of sites that can be trusted. Those that don't just follow the SJW agenda. I can't do it because, like I said, I haven't followed mainstream media in years. It would make for an interesting thread too.
