In sales or review scores? Because in sales it did as well as the previous instalments. Not irrelevant, but not a juggernaut anymore.

What is funny about that?Funniest part of all of this? Infinite will be a pack in with Series X via GamePass and the guaranteed one month gamepass code the console will come with.
According to Pachter who had this straight from a Microsoft source. Is it?

Only Halo 3 sold 12 million copies, the rest was below 10 million (on Xbox). Pachter said it sold on par with Halo1-4, the average is 9.25mil. That was in 2018. So now after including Game Pass numbers I'm pretty sure more than 10mil people have played it.Halo was 10M+ per game with Bungie, wasn't? I thought it was not the case anymore. I would be skeptical without numbers.

If its not a juggernaut are we expecting under 7 million players or so then?
Sales probably, but with gamepass and pc version everything will be fine. Unless game is broken which is highly unlikely to happen.
I still think 343i need to do better this time. It will be easier if they bring a great game.
This all started when Sony unveiled the PS5 logo and people started reporting that it became the most liked and/or shared video game social media post of all time.

Actually I am feeling VERY generous today. Instead of the DMs for secret sauce for bigger pee pee. I'll just give the secret sauce to everyone else instead. Enjoy the bigger pee pee.

I counted average because I said it did as well as previous instalments. The best selling Halo ever was Halo 3. It's around 14mil, the worst selling Halo was Halo CE with 6.5 mil. Halo 5, definitely surpassed 10mil, so I don't think it did poorly. Obviously we don't know the exact figures, but like Microsoft said to Pachter. It did inline with other Halo instalments. Now we count average sales of all mainline Halos combined just to mitigate Halo 5 sales? LOL. Btw. 10 mil played it means 10 mil. sales right? Right
Look both Sony and Nintendo still have zero competition to the Halo franchise, even after all these years. Its a viable system seller.
Zero? I'm pretty sure multiple Nintendo franchises latest entries have outsold halo 5"No one like Halo anymore."
Keep telling yourself that.

H5 had its major issues - I have a feeling this new entry is going to right the ship.
Zero competition? Really?
I keep asking everyone and anyone for an answer here - and get no response. As a fan of Halo, name me a similar competitive offline/online FPS is on a Playstation or Nintendo console?Zero? I'm pretty sure multiple Nintendo franchises latest entries have outsold halo 5
I think they mean the type of game. Nintendo has that squid one the pedos love but it's 3rd person and not very similar. Neither really attempt to compete in the FPS space.Zero? I'm pretty sure multiple Nintendo franchises latest entries have outsold halo 5

10mil played doesn't necessarily mean 10 mil sales. Because you have to take into account second hand sales and since this gen Game Pass. Do we count every player that got it via Game Pass as a "sale"? Maybe it's not worth looking at sales, and more important to look at number of unique players.

Nope; on XO and PS4 as well w/ mouse and keyboard support. Also has a gamepad mode but I have trouble imagining that would be fun (although you could pause a lot I guess.)That looks pretty great. PC only?
And what's the most important part? Number of players or number of sales? I would think number of players, otherwise Fortnite is a really unsuccessful game.If Halo 5 surpassed 10 mil. copies sold, i'm pretty sure MS would say something about that officially ( like they did for Halo 4 ). Not hiding behind Patcher. LOL That's not on par with other Halo titles, it's above average then. But looks like it's not. 2nd hand sales is a same copy of a game, not a new copy sold. You can't count also Gamepass as sale, it's borrowed. But you can count it surely as game played by player.
Amount of money is all anyone involved cares about. And what's the most important part? Number of players or number of sales? I would think number of players, otherwise Fortnite is a really unsuccessful game.

Fortnite has weirdos spending $10 to make their character have different pajamas by the millions.
Does Halo 5 have MTX?

Last I heard that was revenue, not sales numbers. Warzone with it's microtransactions brought in a lot of cash.In sales or review scores? Because in sales it did as well as the previous instalments.
Yes it does. If it's about amount of money generated. We don't really have any figure on that except for the first 24h ($400 mil), so basically we don't really know. I would think that they easily got 10mil unique players, and that's a lot for the Xbox One, knowing it only sold 50-60mil consoles.Amount of money is all anyone involved cares about.

I hope this is a joke lol. I wouldn't call Microsoft trying to take advantage, they've been readying up for this upcoming gen.
Yes. In 24h. That's pretty good...400$ mil. included all stuff - games, merchendise, accesories when MS officially gave that statement few years ago

You are just guessing here on how it did. Microsoft said it sold on par with other Halo instalments, so unless they lied to Pachter or Pachter lied to the public, you are wrong and Halo is still a huge IP that people love. Which is why this super small voice clip already has 2.6 million views.Too bad they combined it with merchandise and accessories. Game only surely it would be way less, maybe even below Halo 3 or 4.
IIRC Halo 5 has sold above 900k in launch month in US.
