It's not vaporware, it's Xcloudware.
Looks like a different tech, and best clouds ever are Flight sim, not even up for debate.DriveClub is a generation ahead! Never seen dynamic clouds as realistic as that ever before!
I did say these guys would be at the top of the pile when it comes to graphical fidelity this generation, looks like I was right

If they can do this on last gen hardware just imagine what they do on the X.
I'm interested to see what Horizon 2 is doing with its sky. I love this kind of thing, am hoping Halo is using similar tech to this as last year the sky was very basic.Hmm, won't argue on that as well.
It would be great if we could get some technical analysis on the different ways to make realistic cloud and weather patterns. What makes this different to DriveClub, RDR2 etc?
Need a ELI5 of Flow Maps honestly but I might try and have a look laterFlow maps I would wager.
This is the tech they are using I imagine, looks like anyway.Besides flight simulator..none of those other examples show clouds forming and dissolving (as specified in the twitter post) anywhere near as naturally like this.
It does look quite like it but the YouTube link still seems a very static form of cloud creation. It might be a different setting or a minor update to the techThis is the tech they are using I imagine, looks like anyway.
Clouds real-time creation with Flowmaps 3D | 3DArt

Yeah they could well have improved it but it's Unreal engine tech and Ninja Theory use that engine so I presumed its the same technology. It does look quite like it but the YouTube link still seems a very static form of cloud creation. It might be a different setting or a minor update to the tech
What?, care to enlighten why i'm wrong to think if they are working on cloud tech they could be at a dev point to have a trailer or demo ready?.Well that much was obvious by your first sentence
Base line Senua, in game model.
You would wager?Flow maps I would wager.
These are really nice, I love those!
Here are more real-time 3d clouds in games:
And some more!
What the....i wasnt trying to be funny when i said that was the actress in costume, i honestly thought it was, but i just read the white text and thats her actual ingame model?, pretty crazy lol.

Calm down dear, I was answering in response to what makes these clouds different to other games, ok sweetheartYou would wager?
Are you ignoring the fact this was stated quite clearly in the very first post in an effort to look like you are making some kind of educated guess?
Guys .. we are looking at clouds, which have been done very, very well ... for years. You're not going to sit there and look at clouds on a time lapse like this video is showing, when you're playing a video game.
It looks good. So do tons of other weather environments in games. Let's move on and wait for something actually real.
720p
No I think this the real actress in costume before being rendered in game, this is too good. What the....i wasnt trying to be funny when i said that was the actress in costume, i honestly thought it was, but i just read the white text and thats her actual ingame model?, pretty crazy lol.
It's far smoother than Horizon which updates in stages. Plus one is a tiny low quality gif.Horizon for example:
While the Cloud tech in Hellblade 2 looks great, i'm not sure it's looking mind-blowing, compared to other games.
Read the white text, and look at the folds in the leather and fabric on the different models. Its ingame i think. No I think this the real actress in costume before being rendered in game, this is too good.
If this is an in game model then a new level of fidelity has been reached, hopefully we find out at E3Read the white text, and look at the folds in the leather and fabric on the different models. Its ingame i think.
Very impressive. Probably the first time i have been honestly fooled.

They never said they did, unless i missed it. Its just tiresome little warriors trying to start shit when there is no need. It's not like clouds are moving that fast all the time in real life. It looks good, not impressive. They didn't set a new standard at Ninja theory if that's what they wanted you to believe.

You were the one with the insecure post.Is it hard for you to discuss things, instead to go this route again?
Drive club was NOT the first game to use volumetric cloudsDriveclub did it first.
You were the one with the insecure post.
Poor devs cant even tweet little harnless stuff like this without an inquest.
E3 here we come.
Ninja Theory are just on another level.
Nervous laugh? as the HB2 trailer is looking a lot more attainable now. That looks freaking beautiful. What's with the laughing reactions?

That's a photo. A real person wearing real clothes... and a covid mask.
Base line Senua, in game model.
Yeah it has to be real. The white text is a bit weird though with the way are wording it like its an ingame asset. That's a photo. A real person wearing real clothes... and a covid mask.
I just don't understand. A PS5 version of Drive club w/ PSVR would be something...Some better examples from DriveClub.
It's obviously better looking its a new game running on next gen hardware. I'm not downplaying Horizon its a lovely looking game, I'm just saying what I see.Horizon is a far bigger game. If that is what at least 6,5x stronger console than vanilla PS4 can achieve in Hellblade 2, then naaah. Not better at all

But it won't happen.
Wait this is really in game?Looks impressive.
And good thing they covered her mouth, that initial reveal trailer with Senua’s gummy mouth was fucking ugly and awful to look at. Looked so exageratted
Don't even try with the PS3 crap mateWeve seen raymarched clouds in ps3 games ace combat on ps4 and xbone had them at 60fps horizon zero dawn red dead 2 drive club and so much games, i need to see something new please
