Yeah it’s probably due to mr LG oled more than the game, the frame rate looks solid but I had the same problem I had with spider man, it genuinely looks like a slide show and ruins any benefit of resolution the game may have. I tried it to see if it made the hair look super clean but cloud still had artifactimg on the hair even when the image is moving….must be the drs? at graphics setting so performance mode it is for me…looks so much better.I thought the framerate was stable at 30FPs. Or are you saying that 30FPs just feels bad in general.
inal Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is, all in all, an excellent enhancement of a great game, thanks to its technical improvements and a solid and meaty new chunk of content with Episode INTERmission.
Those who haven't played Remake yet (and have access to a PS5) should have no doubt that this is the best way to experience the game. Meanwhile, for returning fans, Episode INTERmission is the perfect excuse to jump back into Midgar and make life miserable for Shinra as a giant shuriken-wielding teenage ninja.
Intermission serves as a tantalizing tease of Yuffie's inevitable meeting with Final Fantasy 7's core cast, and an excellent reason to return to Midgar to experience her new exhilarating style of combat and entertaining side activities.

Does the intergrade "ps5" disc just have the same base game as ps4 7 remake?
I've never played any ff game and 7 remake for ps4 is just cheaper. Does it have the same graphical update as intergrade version of base game ?
I see. So what I expected. Does the free upgrade is just a patch like for god of war or a full ps5 native version patch, so dualsense and stuff too ?You get a free upgrade to the PS5 edition if you have the PS4 edition, but it doesn't include the Yuffie DLC.

Nice. thanks a lot. I would go for intergrade but I have no idea if I will like the game and base ps4 version is much cheaper.I believe it's a native PS5 app, so you'll end up downloading the base PS5 game. I believe there is some use of dualsense features, but I can't remember off the top of my head.
You can't go wrong by simply upgrading to the native PS5 version at no extra cost. 60fps, texture pop ins are gone and areas load much faster.Nice. thanks a lot. I would go for intergrade but I have no idea if I will like the game and base ps4 version is much cheaper.
I honestly have bigger issue with NPC models, its kind of why I prefer visual style of DQXI and upcoming Tales of Arise over FF7R, the none important NPC models in those games doesn't look as good as important characters but they don't look ugly. In FF7R, some of the quests NPCs can look down right hideous at times.Despite the game looking gorgeous with all the upgrades I still see a lot of poor textures to even zero texture at all, a bit disappointing.
Guess they never upgraded the actual textures and it always like this.

OK ordered disc version of 7 remake for ps4. I should be able to upgrade to "intergrade/ps5 version" for free but no dlc.
It was 40 usd new and intergrade for ps5 was 80... so not sure I want to pay 40 for dlc I might not like a game for.
Also ordered Returnal just in case I don't like final fantasy
Just the fact that most textures are fixed and gameplay is 60fps makes it seem a whole different gameMight be time for me to revisit this. Played on a base PS4 so I take it this is a substantial upgrade?
Literally the first boss to kill me. Like in the original game this signals the first difficulty spikeJust starting ch10. Fell to the sewers after the fat pervert got us bia the ol’ trapdoor trick.

Oh man, this game is amazing looking. One of the top best looking games.Looks pretty.
could be and also your familiarity with its combat and game as whole, so the experience is going to be much faster than your first time. Can it be that the shorter load times and higher fps make for an overall shorter experience?
Is it me though or the game can be beaten in a shorter time than the PS4 version? I'm in chapter 13 with 18h playtime and I haven't skipped any dialogues, sidequests or cut scenes. The PS4 game took me 35h to finish.

60 fps is the way to go. Holy hell its like a new game. I can take the res drop. Still looks sharp to me. What a great job they did in this.
Is the only thing 60 fps does is drop the resolution?
Yes, you're playing at 60 fps now instead of 30 fps, thats twice as fast! Everything is running at double speed which in turn cuts game time in half! I'm with you are, the quality (30 fps) mode feels very... frame-ish? Lol Sluggish describes better. Performance mode with its silky 60 fps is better, though I wished they could could have a better IQ with increased resolution or CB or something like that (but with this perfect 60 fps performance!).I just started playing the PS5 version yesterday and yeah the 60fps is amazing. I tried Quality mode for a bit but it just felt so sluggish. Performance mode still looks great at least.
It's just a feeling. If you FORCED and played like that for few "hours", you would get used to it again. On pc it's easier because you can cheat. Lock fps to 20, play for 5 minutes, lock to 30 ad it will seem smooth as butter. Matter of brain perspectiveI'm with you are, the quality (30 fps) mode feels very... frame-ish? Some effects are altered. I particularly noticed the particle effects toned down in the 60fps mode.Is the only thing 60 fps does is drop the resolution?
Not saying you are wrong but I believe everything is the same outside of resolution. According to digital foundry anyway. I might be misremembering though. Some effects are altered. I particularly noticed the particle effects toned down in the 60fps mode.

The way synergy Materia works now makes this boss a cake walk now I think they made it way to OP with the changes (no MP or AP cost anymore), as opposed to how it was completely useless before.
How does that work, both party members need to have this equipped into a linked slot? Doesn’t explain very well. The way synergy Materia works now makes this boss a cake walk now I think they made it way to OP with the changes (no MP or AP cost anymore), as opposed to how it was completely useless before.
Nope. Just a non-active party member with it linked to one of the elemental materials. You can actually even hook it up to mp/oh absorbs too. Anytime your primary character does an AP attack it will trigger the synergy users to launch the linked attack materia. It use to cost mp/ap everytime it was used, but not anymore. How does that work, both party members need to have this equipped into a linked slot? Doesn’t explain very well.

Anyone else’s ps5 making an audible fan noise playing this at 60fps? Feel it’s the first game I can hear my ps5s fan. Sadge
