where was this Deathloop advertising, I never saw anyShame. After they went all out for Deathloop. A MS game. Gave kena the cold shoulder.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits comes out in 2 days. I've seen no ads, no marketing at all. It didn't even get a spot in Sony's state of play last week.
How did this game go from hype to nothing?
They are doing twitter countdowns so I don't think that'll happen, they would have known a long time ago if it weren't going to make the launch date, it's already been delayed once. It's getting delayed I fear. Monday announcement.

Sorry for responding twice, just turned my PS5 on and it's downloading the game so it's not being delayed. It's getting delayed I fear. Monday announcement.
this isn't first partyUnfortunately, that proly means they have no confidence in its quality. Though that begs the question, why is it coming out? Isn't Sony proud of its first-party premium quality?
But you have to spend money to make money..?Maybe because marketing costs money.
Me either. Only reviewswhere was this Deathloop advertising, I never saw any
Its just a 3rd party indie game, self-published by Ember Lab themselves. Sure its a timed exclusive, same as Jett The Far Shore and Solar Ash. (Both coming out next month in October.) You won't see many ads for Jett, Kena, or Solar Ash. They don't advertise as much as big budget games.Kena: Bridge of Spirits comes out in 2 days. I've seen no ads, no marketing at all. Sony aren't charging $40. They are not the publisher. Its a 3rd party game. Ember Lab are self-publishing the game. Ember Lab are charging $40. Not Sony. And its among others too - Oddworld Soulstorm was $50. While Kena is $40. And SIFU is $40. Jett is $30.I mean the game looks like a standard indie game. It isnt even getting a retail release. How many of those get marketing pushes?
this was featured in like 4 state of plays/conferences. If you werent sold then you arent gonna be sold today.
Just because sony is inexplicably charging $40 for an indie game doesnt mean its more than an indie game. Shouldve been priced like hades. $25.
Unfortunately, that proly means they have no confidence in its quality. Though that begs the question, why is it coming out? Isn't Sony proud of its first-party premium quality?
Nope. Game data in on my ps5. 17 gb. Its coming out. It's getting delayed I fear. Monday announcement.
We have a winner. Do people think that marketing and publicity just fall out of the sky? This is an indie game. Where was the marketing for Among Us and Fall Guys when they came out?Maybe because marketing costs money.

Looks like it's being sent to die. Probably not a ton of confidence or they hope sales will be organic through word of mouth.
Returnal and Kena sales not being great is not great. I like these unique offerings Sony is investing in and hope they continue.
What are you talking about? Look at the reviews for Returnal, it is a great game. Only because it’s not your genre does not make the game bad.Returnal was a weak concept, never looked so good and had tons of problems, I am not surprised.
It looks pretty high budget for an indie game and was part of PS5's launch roll out footage. Maybe that was all the marketing they intended to give it.Self-published indie game.
