i'm no fan of schreier but he obviously has sources at sony. he just last week had the scoop on ps plus revamp and before that HZD going to PC.

I have a really bad feeling they've missed the train on the live service game. Think it will get lost amongst too much competition.
New IP will be good, I can't see TLOU III coming soon. I know they said they have a plot/outline but I think Neil's been clear they need to rest the IP just because of studio fatigue that sets in.

- Flagship Live Service game that changes the quality expectations of the genre.
- Brand New IP in a fantasy setting without Neil.
- End the Gen with TLOU3. The HBO show leads right into Part III. Is the greatest piece of entertainment in history, wins 400 GOTY awards, crushes all haters again.

That TLOU project is not something ND would spend too much time on... Its probably already ready, they will release it when the HBO show releases. No point releasing it any sooner than that.
Its highly probable they are already finished with the project and have since moved onto all this stuff.
They haven't been working on a TLOU Remake since TLOU 2 came out and nothing else... Lolll

I'm annoyed they never properly upgraded TLoU2 for ps5 like they said they would all the way back in 2020. Just a resolution increase alone would improve the already great visuals massively. Proper dual sense support would go a long way too.
Things havnt seemed quite right with Naughty Dog since the release of Lou2. Took them forever to patch LoU2 for 60 fps, Uncharted 4 remaster was disappointing, strange rumor of LoU1 remake and nobody knowing what's up with this live service game (it's also taking FOREVER)

The concern is Naughty Dogs last two multiplayer offerings were heavily pay to win and they completely escaped any criticism for it by gaming media.

As far as the multiplayer goes, a BR mode? Fuckin hell, I hope it stays scrapped. LOU multiplayer was perfect and extremely under rated. If they reskinned the LOU multiplayer mode with new maps I wouldn’t care. Just fuck off with anything else.

If this is true there are a couple of weird things going on, that trailer has only PC prompts and the animations are not even on par with the first Factions game, i'm gonna go with x for doubt.
