What's the rush? Xenoblade Chronicles 3 isn't some online game with time limited events. If you're enjoying another game, it's weird to cut that short for something new you think you might like.Im trying so hard to finish Triangle and Live A Live before this comes out.
Yokota: So, by “culmination,” you don't mean that it brings closure to the series, but rather that it rounds out the trilogy thematically.
Takahashi: Yes, that’s right. I guess you can say that this is like a summary for moving on to the next step in the future.
Takahashi: Yes, that’s right. In creating my stories, I always try to portray the enemies in such a way that even a powerful enemy has their principles, justice, and righteousness so that we can partly sympathize with them.
Takahashi: The first title is kind of like a straight-A student for me. The second one is not quite a straight-A student, but it has a much brighter and more lighthearted start... For the third title, I wanted to stop being a goody two-shoes.
Takahashi: This idea of "foreign things becoming one" is something we have been trying to express since the time of Xenogears (3) back in the day. A person's life is basically built up of relationships with other people. A relationship with foreign things. I’m always conscious of this perspective when I’m making things.
I LOVED Xenoblade 2 to death but I'm not gonna deny its issues, mostly because their team was cut in half when they were helping development with BOTW, while being same year as Switch launch, the XCX engine wasn't exactly well optimized at that point so the game was rough at times but despite all of this XC2 tuned really great which makes me respect Monolith Soft even more.Enjoyed the interview
Yeah, so many great ideas but poor execution.I LOVED Xenoblade 2 to death but I'm not gonna deny its issues, mostly because their team was cut in half when they were helping development with BOTW, while being same year as Switch launch, the XCX engine wasn't exactly well optimized at that point so the game was rough at times but despite all of this XC2 tuned really great which makes me respect Monolith Soft even more.
With XC3 they have full team behind them and properly optimized the engine to run on Switch and their experienced with pervious games, Its not surprised to see the game being well received.
Noob question but what resolution is this under handheld mode?

A lot of shaky parts but ended very strong over all, making for an amazing package despite its flaws. Especially if you factor in all the added content.Yeah, so many great ideas but poor execution.
This is why I have mad respect for Monolith Soft, they are currently one of my favourite JRPG developers.A lot of shaky parts but ended very strong over all, making for an amazing package despite its flaws. Especially if you factor in all the added content.
Can't say anything about the whole game since I still can't play it, but currently seems promising. The story is still kept underwrap, but after what I saw in 1 and 2, I'll most likely enjoy it, especially it's the culmination of the trilogy. Gameplay looks like an improvement from the previous games, still similar but with new many things. Music is top notch as always. Is this game supposed to be really that good? I feel like holding off for player word of mouth. I remember the hype when Tales of Arise came out, that it was supposed to be one of the best Tales games and revitalized the series. Then after a few months the common consensus was that it starts off great, but then nosedives in the 2nd half, which I concur with.
For me it all comes down to me personally enjoyed all pervious Xenoblade game and have full trust in Monolith Soft same way I do with Vanillaware. Is this game supposed to be really that good? There is an interesting parallel here because I also noticed that narrative around Arise. A kind of "with this, the Tales series has finally arrived for a bigger audience" vibe or something like that. I've tried to get into tales a few times and didn't like it, and then I noticed the kind of positive buzz leading up to Arise that made me reconsider it too. Ultimately I decided not to bite and that positive energy evaporated, just as you noticed. Is this game supposed to be really that good? I feel like holding off for player word of mouth. Alert!! Alert!! The package is enroute.
Hype level: Inferno
So crazy, combat was my fav part, so much so that i went after all the super bosses after the credits rolledI'm a sucker for JRPGs and the high metascore is making me interested, but while I liked XC1, I loathed 2's combat system so much that I never finished the game. Wonder if I will enjoy XC3 given that I disliked XC2?
Why does this guy looks like an older version of this guy from stranger things will?
Try clicking on “not interested” and “don’t recommend channel” on videos that seem spoilery.Guys is there a way to filter out youtube videos? There are imbeciles spoiling important plot stuff on YouTube thumbnail and titles... I cannot just "stop using" it because there are other stuff I want to watch, channels I'm subscribed to, etc... Is there a way to make some type of content (by tags, keyword, whatever) not appear on my feed?
tbh future connected is my least favourite xenoblade anything. They say it ties into XC3, but it felt like filler to me where not much happened and the best characters like Dunban and combat mechanics like chain attack were removed from the game. Great music tho. Still if I had to skip one xenoblade thing for some reason, it would be FCdamn, only thing i havent played, should i play this?
I love both battle systems so it's hard for me to say but...I'm a sucker for JRPGs and the high metascore is making me interested, but while I liked XC1, I loathed 2's combat system so much that I never finished the game. Wonder if I will enjoy XC3 given that I disliked XC2?

Isn't that...Macgruber?Why does this guy looks like an older version of this guy from stranger things will?
I got spoiled on some major things by thumbnails too. People are so dumbGuys is there a way to filter out youtube videos? That's the problem... I can only do that AFTER I got spoiled :/Try clicking on “not interested” and “don’t recommend channel” on videos that seem spoilery.
I use chrome add on to hide thumbnails on YouTube. That's the problem... I can only do that AFTER I got spoiled :/
Gotta do the same... I'm trying to code something similar but that also hides select content by "keywords" on the title.., Hope I don't forget to finish it later lol Problem is that I use YouTube mostly from my Switch on the TV... I'm definitely fucked by imbeciles that should have access to internetI use chrome add on to hide thumbnails on YouTube.
