Easy, I noticed it in the tease trailer. Mario as well, you can see Chris pratt in it. I feel like most/all cg these days has the actors face in it.

I hope to eat my hat, but the “she can do anything“ tagline for peach is too in your face for my liking. Let’s see how it translates on the screen.

The graphic style is not bad, but I don't know why they didn't use the original style from the game at this point since it's very similar but much more recognizable. Bowser is the same, Toad is the same, Magikoopa is the same, Koopas are the same, only Mario, Luigi and Peach are different:

Every time I see Mario characters in different costumes I just think about how ridiculous it is that Paper Mario games aren’t allowed to do that anymore, and that’s why they’re so bad now compared to the first two. So fucking irritating that clearly Nintendo allows it all the time, just not with Paper Mario for unknown reasons.

Here's a quick edit giving Peach proportions similar to her in-game model. They scaled up her head and made it wider, removed a lot of volume from her hair. Rounded her usual almond eyes.
Even her brooch and earrings got scaled down, so everything screams wrong about it. I dare not reduce her waist by 10-20% in current year!

For reasons we can only speculate on, my best guess on post #26.
