AndriaSang reports on a rumor that the first Gundam game on PlayStation Vita may be Gundam Seed Battle Destiny by Artdink, who made those Macross games on PSP.

Is that good or bad? Seed is my fav Gundam series and would buy if this turns out decent.

That´s a big deal, right?
Pretty sure it's somewhere in Data believe it or not, I will try it out myself later today and let you know if I figure it out
Not been checking this topic regularly, but has anyone actually been playing Ridge Racer?
I put a fair bit of time into it last night and levelled up a couple of times, which appears to make your cars faster. No wonder online has been such a crap shoot - everyone is driving different speed cars depending on their level!!! I prefer this to rubber-banding, I have to say, but it is kind of misleading when nothing is mentioned on lobby screens.
I have no idea how people have the patience to get to Level 16 on the three tracks that are available though. This game needs new tracks asap.
You can gain levels by playing the spot races, where you race against 7 CPU cars. As you gain levels, I guess these get harder too, like the recent Ridge titles. Also you can race against ghosts you download. You can see a list of ghosts, and choose one you want to challenge. Each time you beat a real player ghost, your ghost score will increase... 1G -> 2G -> 3G etc. And you can get more points by beating a ghost that has a higher ghost score.Hoe do you actuall progress- just lots of ghost races against the computer? Doesn't seem to be any structured single player mode at all. Although I like the idea of you racing for your team against others around the world, its just too sparse
Doesn't work for me. Has that :/ icon there. Maybe it's encoding?
Impression from demo. Very short 5-10 min max. Has that nice graphical style with jaggies you know of.
Controls pretty well actually and Motion Aim is a must, as right stick and square button are used in fighting. If you use stick only, it's very difficult to aim and then remove thumb from stick and press square.
Got me interested more, but waaaaay too short. Need more. Oh, and that black haired girl is hotter.
Aren't 8-4 localizing Gravity Daze? because I like that no one is clear on what the game is called lol
Gravity Daze is JP-title.
Gravity Rush is EU/NA title.
Haha, yes, basically this. If you want to use the right stick for aiming, you need to use the CLAW.
In the video, in order not to move my Vita too much, I used the right stick and it was harder for sure.
Black haired girl is the sex.
Thanks. I notice that the demo disables network features as well. At this rate I think we're going to have more games that disable networking than not. Someone must put a stop to this or explain what's happening.
Great...I have to import it and learn Japanese to play it with the correct title.
:lol
"Rush" is just generic, cliche "trying too hard" bullshit.
I'll try, since no one has helped you yet.
I imported mine into the US and I used Fedex instead of DHL. You cannot use EMS (Japan Post) because they prohibit the shipment of lithium ion batteries via airmail.
Fedex requires you to fill out an additional form and to put a red warning label on the box. You can get those here: http://www.fedex.com/jp_english/about/local/servicenews/lithium_batteries.html You want number 4 as that applies to batteries contained in equipment (the Vita's battery is built in). Good luck, it's going to be expensive!
Well, at least TGS-old. But it doesn't look that bad live, jaggies are the only ugly thing about it, the rest is great.Yeah, it's obviously the same segment, but I wonder how old the build is.
I can play gravity daze demo on my uk account. Basically I downloaded on vita using my Japanese account, reset the system to my uk account and it works.
Wait, so we'll be able to get Japanese digtital-only Vita games and earn trophies for them on our US/EU accounts this way??

I assumed it would need to read your JP account to play and activate the license...perhaps you're only able to play that demo because it's free content, paid content may require JP account.
I'm sure someone knows the answer though.

I'm fine with the paid content being unplayable, but does the Vita allow me to keep it, just like it does with demos, or are the transfers back and forth from a PC a must?No you can't play digital titles. I downloaded the English version of little deviants on my HK account and that doesn't work on any other account. It must just be demos that work.
Bummer. The demos don't have activation, yeah. If you try switching accounts with purchased content it'll prompt to format the card. That's my experience with it, anyway.

This account switching confusion has been nothing short of a roller coaster.
What happens if you don't deactivate an account before switching to a different one? or is the account deactivation automated during the restoration process?
See this is the part where I think we need to verify the consequences of. Being allowed to skip the deactivation only to lose forever, even if you switch back to the account later sounds incredibly stupid to me.You can actually skip the deactivation process, it's a yes/no prompt, but it warns that you won't be able to deactivate later if you don't do it. So I haven't tried that. Not even sure why it isn't forced, since it sounds like you lose an activation if you don't do it.
For what it's worth, this is not the first time concerns and suspicions were raised about motion controls causing the networking suspension. But it doesn't make it any less arbitrary to me.Btw, minna no golf disables network connections if you go into 'free cam', which uses motion aiming. Wonder if there is an issue with motion accuracy when wifi/3g is active? That could be an issue with some games down the line
Like, you lose your saves and everything? If you try switching accounts with purchased content it'll prompt to format the card.
