To be honest, I find it really hard to believe that the PC is actually on PS3/360 hardware spec. It's probably just marketing talk to make their intentions easier to understand for the people attending. More realistically it would be a PC on modern hardware, with settings scaled back to what is realistically achievable on PS3/360. That's more believable to me.

I figured that was what was meant at the outset. That's why I've been using "specced" to 2005 hardware.

It'll be interesting to see what concessions were made to run an "open world" MGS (if individual asset quality is similar) on the PS3/360.

"Two Phantoms?" Well, it could be Solid Snake and Liquid Snake, or Solid Snake and Gray Fox.

Like I said in the last thread, the title almost sounds like Metal Gear 0. Wouldn't be surprised if this goes over Solid Snake's earlier missions, rising through the ranks before he was chosen to go to Outer Heaven. That character model looks too young to be Big Boss, and the tech is too new to place it in Big Boss' younger days. Ah, I just noticed the Militaires Sans Frontières logo on his shoulder. Looks like he's Big Boss, unless this is one of Kojima's tricks.

Story is Kojima and MGS biggest factor in my opinion.

However Mafia 2 shows you can make a very good story (Cutscenes Included) into a open world game, so I hold hope.

Zanzibar Land, during the Zanzibar Land Disturbance, utilized the Phantom 07 brand camouflage mat for use during conflict, although they actually need to crawl under the mat instead of simply put it over themselves. Solid Snake, while infiltrating the nation, made use of these mats during his mission.
