I was very formal in all the previous emails we exchanged until they said they had to cancel, then I said fuck it. That 11hr thing is just a GMAIL thing telling you when you sent that email.

At least they thought about giving you an interview, try finding a dang entry level 3D artist position is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. :/

Really? I was always under the impression anything comp-sci related had great job prospects and was high in demand oO

programming is, 3D art at the moment, not so much. Or at least every position requires a minimum experience within the industry and shipped titles and what not.

I have a friend in your field, and she's in Ottawa.

In general, job opportunities in Vancouver aren't great. Alberta is better for tech jobs, and I guess Ontario is better for government jobs.

yeah smaller studios are a good place to look, if they have openings.

The larger ones have some as well, but generally speaking they're outsourcing 3D jobs, why wouldn't they when can send concept art to China and they'll model it for dirt cheap no questions asked.

Thanks guys, all your talk about cut backs in the public sector reminded me that the next round of affected notices will be coming in a couple of weeks and I'm going to be worried about my job again.

Can't believe I am going to have to deal with this for the next 3 years. :-(

I hate EASHL's matchmaking system, such garbage, hey let's throw your player who has played at total of 20 games against people who have 1000 games under their belt, WHAT A GREAT IDEA!!!!!!!!

I ordered fro TRU as well and I dont think we'll be getting it on release. I think it ships on the release day and it will arrive anywhere from a day to a week after release depending on your location.

I didnt see in-store pickup as an option either. Maybe if you call customer service and hassle them.

The amount of rage I just went through would probably have gotten me banned on GAF 10 times over. I played one game yesterday where both teams didn't do any glitches, the most someone did was try to cherry pick and that was kept to a minimum. Overall it was a really close and enjoyable game, unfortunately I doubt I'll get to have that happen again.

I never realized exactly how much hockey the Sharks have played the past few seasons, the question of fatigue never really entered my mind. Back to back WCF trips and three of our big guys played in the Olympics. This longer offseason, excluding any lockout time, may be a good thing.

*insert lockout making the offseason even longer joke here*

Blackace literally said "Go post your nudes in the NHL thread" in his ban message. I don't think he's concerned about consistency or protocol. He was just in a tiff about us giving NBA-GAF a hard time.
