doesnt the lighting autmatically come in? once you stop editing the map and it renders

I guess the question is if you can place lighting, switch to bake the lights, then remove a light then save while maintaining the lighting minus the object for certain effects. Still not sure how inside maps are going to work.

This is the first footage I've seen where I'm like "Yes. Halo 4 is definitely for me." (in terms of the long run)

My fingers and thought-processing work too fast for Halo 3 and Reach.. Also, I'll finally be able to use my twitch again of punching walls and switching weapons real fast when not in battle, something I've developed since Halo 1 (Mobility and Dexterity ALL the way!). This same kinda twitch can be seen when players move the reticle in a circle with later Halo games (although it actually helped in H1).

Seriously, this month can't move fast enough..

There's a strong possibility it is.

Wait.. what makes you say that? ;[

A lot of it seems to be sensitivity. I've played Reach several times after long stretches of only playing PC games. Nearly every time I would have to resort to using sensitivities that are twice as much or half of what I was using before! The setting I had upon starting again is never right.

Funny that I used to play on 3.

Have similar... issue(?). I'm rarely satisfied with my previously chosen sensitivity after a break, usually i adjust it by (just) one step, in either direction.
Wonder if 3 is the default sensitivity in Halo 4 and if it feels like Reach's 3. If so, i'll just up it to 4 and i'm good to go.

"What Halo 4 will look like with no skill-based matchmaking"

Infinity Slayer is gonna be a scrub stomping ground. Sprinting around the maps, raining death of bks, seeing mothafuckas through walls or thrusting around the area, building up sprees and even more godlike weapons falling out of the sky so you can stomp them some more. And with drop-in, drop-out, the party is never over!

Get a GAF group and go to town.

This should be on the back of the box.

I love how he strafe sprints across that hallway to hide at 2:42. Risky, but if the guy follows up to get in close for a kill, the SAW has the advantage. Helps the guy shooting 'em only hit him twice.

Well they have mentioned that the "other gametypes" didn't get the CTF/Oddball level changes, so they inferred their existence but.. not really much to support it being there just yet.
That's true, it could be there, but they have also mentioned King of the Hill being in the game (probably without major changes), and of course they haven't with Assault.
What would be there decision for that?
Wait.. what makes you say that? ;[
343 is making a clear effort to deliver a set of objective games that have been given a ton of work, including being designed specifically for matchmaking (specific map combos and player counts), and each objective gametype being a unique experience. This is likely going to be at the expense of less objective gametypes at launch than in the past few Halo games, so that gametypes can get real support in matchmaking instead of throwing 20 gametypes into a mosh pit objective playlist and watch as no one plays it (see past two Halo games).

Assault may very well be cut simply because it's a pretty similar gametype to CTF, and the actual evidence in the game that may suggest Assault is gone is that the Oddball is used in Grifball, not the bomb.

A cleansing flame.
Another believer. They're slowing turning.

We will convert them all.
