That is insane! Do people actually collect them all?
I do! Catching them all is my favorite part.

Most people don't, but there are a lot who do. It could probably take a day or less if you had the knowledge and were dedicated to it. Maybe two days.
Be a good friend and make sure they get the XL. haha
Yeah Im leaning to it being Fire/Psychic. Chespin maybe Grass/Dark?
I did it when it was 493(?) and when it was 647 (when i did it only 647 was available) . Though really I cheat the second time and traded over the 493.
So the special version is "Pokémon Down"?

Grass Bug if XScissor was used in that video.
The megaton here is that the first version is the 'Blue' version and the second is the 'Red'. I always pick the 'Blue' version, but also the second one - my world is tearing apart.
Which is still ridiculous to me, mind you, seeing how long trading takes.

Is this some cancelled Sega Saturn game?
My young 3DS owning daughter wants to know if the Pokemon games have connected stories and if she would be lost if she started with these new titles.

By "young 3DS owning daughter" do you mean you?![]()

I wonder if these games will get digital releases? Being able to download the game at midnight the day of release would be pretty cool.
"When Ike saw the breadth of his collection, he wept for there were no more Pokémon to catch."
If you switch versions from Black to White 2 then the only thing that will be odd is that characters will refer to the trainer from Black catching Zekrom which you can't do in Black and you would end up with two Reshiram since in the sequel you get the legendary you didn't get in the original game.Could I play Black and then White 2? Will I miss out on things?
I'd doubt that considering the logos look like the legendary Pokemon. So I had a thought, what if they pull a B/W with this game where the cover legendary is the opposite of the version you get IE X gets the Y pokemon and Y gets the X pokemon?
I'm thinking
Fennekin: Fire/Psychic
Chespin: Grass/Ground
Froakie: Water/Dark or Water/Fighting
No, Fire/Fighter is the de facto standard now in Pokemon
Grass / *
Water / *
I read this in evil Alan Rickman's voice.

Chespin: Grass/Fighting
Froakie: Water/Ice
Didn't Nintendo say every first party game will have an eShop release too? It will.
I buy the new pokemon starters, but i'm so so on the graphics. What i value the most, is how fast the game will run, and if battles take forever like in Pearl/Diamond, i'll wait for the revision.
Yes, It took a crazy amount of time and they do not make trading across gens easy.
X and Y referr to the X and Y axis. You know, 'cause it's 3D. It doesn't have anything to do with sexes. Did you forget who is making the game?
Although in fairness, it's a 400x240 screenshot blown up to 600x360, it's going to look like shit.
Im pretty content with Froakie turning into some Ninja frog, water/fighting beast.
Well its pokemon, pokemon + retailers = love. They might delay the release on eshop by a week or so.
Any of the current DS games are great, but the best of the lot is BW2. Playing BW1 isn't required but encouraged. I prefer BW2 because there are more options.Last pokeman I played were R/S/E. Is it true that the newer ones are more about minmaxing stats (IV etc) than before?
I have to say, I haven't played in years but I want to get back in. Any recommendations?
Huh? There's no way you could do it in two days unless you cheat. Even two days as in 48 hours of playtime would be questionable. Most people don't, but there are a lot who do. It could probably take a day or less if you had the knowledge and were dedicated to it. Maybe two days.
I'm not sure why you would want to buy this on the eShop and have your game/save tied to that hardware..
We need bulk trading.
And by "we," I mean "people like you," as I usually trade in my Pokemon games or reset them upon getting bored with them, so I have no Pokemon to trade.
The Japanese logos are leading us to that belief.
Character customisation confirmed?
