Not really.. it all depends on personal preference. It you want portablilty original 3ds if you want large screen xl.

Yes, It took a crazy amount of time and they do not make trading across gens easy.
i did back in the day, but i haven't played enough lately to try. i was recently shocked to find out one of my friends (who i didn't know was a very big fan) had caught them all

Maybe 1-2 weeks but there's no way you could catch/raise all 649 pokemon in a day unless you're using crazy hax.

Although in fairness, it's a 400x240 screenshot blown up to 600x360, it's going to look like shit.
Chespin is DEFINITELY not a bug and that didn't look like X Scissor. It was most likely a dark move.
Didn't Nintendo say every first party game will have an eShop release too? It will.

I buy the new pokemon starters, but i'm so so on the graphics. What i value the most, is how fast the game will run, and if battles take forever like in Pearl/Diamond, i'll wait for the revision.
If you switch versions from Black to White 2 then the only thing that will be odd is that characters will refer to the trainer from Black catching Zekrom which you can't do in Black and you would end up with two Reshiram since in the sequel you get the legendary you didn't get in the original game.
I'd doubt that considering the logos look like the legendary Pokemon.

We need bulk trading.
And by "we," I mean "people like you," as I usually trade in my Pokemon games or reset them upon getting bored with them, so I have no Pokemon to trade.
The Japanese logos are leading us to that belief.
The graphics look like shit now but it will look better when we play it, as with most 3DS games. I was questioning the layout.
It's just 1 screen, though. The forest area looks way better than this already.

I'm not sure why you would want to buy this on the eShop and have your game/save tied to that hardware..
Any of the current DS games are great, but the best of the lot is BW2. Playing BW1 isn't required but encouraged. I prefer BW2 because there are more options.

It looks alright enough, though almost like they were planning for the same style and camera as Black & White 2 (which also took after the 2D world design) but then decided to make it more 3D and angled the camera a little so it looks a little off in some parts that way. But they have time to polish it off, especially that frame rate.

Huh? There's no way you could do it in two days unless you cheat. Even two days as in 48 hours of playtime would be questionable.

I really hope this one becomes interesting enough for me to pick up. The DS entries were basically kind of MEH, only focused on battle and weird mechanics like the 3-on-3 battles.
Played through Diamond, SoulSilver and half of White. I didn't touch BW2 because (hello?) It's the same game!
So it should better be something way more appealing that BW2. I will be waiting for a good review when it comes out.
You don't have to minmax or worry about IV's to play the single player game. Only worry about that stuff later if you want to do really competitive multiplayer.
Yes, I had all the pokémon in R/S and it took me 100 hours, I can't imagine how much time it'll take now.
