What were the main issues with lan? I always assumed it would be as easy as every other halo?
It ended up beside "weapon drops aren't random" which is right next to "objective gametypes won't have instant respawn".
It would've been awesome.
I think I would pay for a Spartan Ops Season 2 with basic stuff like enemy scaling and difficulty fixed, and if it's more like the second half. Production deadlines and pressure will always exist, but that's stuff I expect to be changed at bare minimum. Bonus points if it works with local/Silver accounts.

You know, I'm a nut for original cool level design. Most of the Spartan Ops stuff in the second half of the season was ace in that regard and I would pay to see for only that. Everything else is just the cherry on top.
- Have to install Spartan Ops to play MM (need usb or hdd)
- Have to see part of a corny Infinity Intro
- Can't play Halo 4 gametypes off junk drive
- OG Xbox 360 that host have games drop on LAN (mid game)
So even Bravo agrees the different BR loadouts are not 'random' because someone actively picked the loadout. This is what I meant quite a few pages back when Dax and Karl said it's the definition of random. It can be unequal starts however.
I just don't understand why the doubles pro settings aren't translated to team slayer exactly the same?
Also the more I think about it, why do we need waypoint or mobile apps to view CSR? I understand the limitations but come on, it effectively ruins the point. Everything should primarily be contained within the game, and anything else is ancillary.
If I want to know how good Tashi is and what his rank is, I should be able to do so by looking at his service record in game etc. I shouldn't have to go on a site, use the app, log in to do so.
Case in point for Reach. I played it well upto the launch of halo 4, I didn't even know I had his bpr until I downloaded waypoint to put in those codes for halo 4, after that did I finally see that ranking or whatever. It was completely pointless.

When HaloGAF helped me realize that we needed a "perk" to use an AR as a secondary:
For the longest time I thought it made the most sense to have a pool of weapons to place as your primary/secondary, but sadly I was mistaken ;'[

Deluxe loadouts seem to offer some intriguing tradeoffs.

Why is this needed? Can't we have at least one playtype without shields?
Deluxe looks like watered down Infinity, nobody should pick that. Besides, who the hell is going to remember all of that? Its like a half ass attempt at classes.

Will try something else too, hard to point a good logo resource. I can't really rip the logo from other pics, never getting the magic wand working right.
Using Paint.net. My skills are limited to copy-pasting and resizing things, along with other small things.
EDIT looks uglier than i thought. Should've tweaked the logo's color i think.
EDIT Need to completly rethink how to do this... maybe logo on backround with the helmet over it? Need the mere helmet pic... maybe...

I haven't done any of it. Will I get the gist of it if I just watch the cutscenes?
Everyone knows that website ranks won't work except 343. The playlist would be so much more popular with in game ranks in the service record. At this point who gives a shit about cheaters and derankers in Halo. Most have moved on to COD or are DDOS'ing kids in Halo 3. Which is sad but its such a small percentage of the overall ranked population.
What do they have to lose at this point? Why not go all out and make ranks visible in game?
There's not really that much i the actual missions that's very important tot he cutscenes. You'll be fine if you just watch them and nothing else.

Deluxe settings look like astep back from what I've wanted. Serioudly why not take the simple doubles pro gametype with a motion sensor set to Ally movement only?
V2 look good, don't know what to take from AAs as drops, I will never call them I think :/
I haven't played a single mission since episode 5. Just haven't had time/the drive to do it. I've watched all the cutscenes though!

I only watch every episode and provide theories after rewatching them. Curious that the Absolute Record wasn't mentioned to Halsey before being captured and given the Janus Key.
I once got like 11 mantis stomps in one game. Just make sure you have the Wheelman perk activated. Don't be afraid to let people get close to you to use the plasma pistol. Kill them from afar and let them get close. As soon as they shoot their PP, press stomp button.
I think I got it in 3 marches of trying. The warthog one only happened when I stopped caring. I just died and spawned on wreckage and there was a warthog there, I just drove it through a man cannon on the left side and there were 2-3 people on the top cliff. Only one couldn't get out of the way and got splattered.

Did anyone else know the game gives you a message if both your weapons are empty?
I was running around with mobility as king in regicide and had to just run laps because I couldn't find ammo. Reminded me of infection on Reach. Still managed to get a double when I finally stopped to double tap.
But seriously, we need ammo on maps.

Now I hate Sarah Palmer even more... Does 343 not understand how much of a fan favorite Halsey is? Or do they actually think people like the poorly written characters they've developed? Might as well kill off chief and have Sarah Palmer be the hero of Halo 5

I wish I was joking. I didn't even bother with the gameplay I just watched the cut scenes since its the only part of spops I ever really enjoyed. That ending was atrocious.

Go in the game and go to the mission select and you can watch it there. Wont work from the episode list for some reason.

Requiem being blown up was a nice conclusion however. At least we won't be stuck there in future games/DLC and hopefully get to visit more exciting places (as if a giant artificial world where next to anything is possible held back 343i?)
This bothered me a hell of a lot. What were 343i thinking?
