I'm hyped for the 20th. Its going to be sweet watching Sony unveil a new system. If it isn't shown it will be just as much fun watching the internet explode with confusion and rage.

It's so weird, we didn't have these big games releasing so close to new console releases last generation. You have GTA V, Destiny, BF4, etc..

At the end of last gen we got Call of Duty 2, God of War 2, and Final Fantasy 12. At the end of PS1 we got Final Fantasy 9 and a few others so there is precedence.

CoD2 only appeared on the 360 and PC, other consoles got a spinoff. The other games I'll give you.

Anyone else excited to see the next controller more than the actual system? We are going to be holding it the next odd years so Im curious about the changes and additions. Yeah we have seen fake pics and stuff but I wonder if it will look anything like that, not that I would mind because those fakes actually looked really good.

Well they were mock pics based on what we heard about the controller and even that information could be unreliable.
EDIT: OK so is that old build? Looks good though. Not sure about the redesign of the sticks. Last time Sony did that they ruined the triggers.

One of the best arcade racing series of all time.
but do we really need another one like that? Between the PGR series and Criterions Need for Speed there isn't any room for yet another present day arcade racer unless its something with a Japenese twist like Rage Racer or something.
Ok, then. Maybe it's the rubber that makes the sticks look funny to me. Like my thumbs are going to easily slip off. I kind of have that problem with the 360 controller. After a bit of use, the rubber is useless.

I have a horrible feeling that we'll all be blown away by everything but one large detail which fucks it all up, like a rubbish controller or used-game restrictions
Even if the PS4 did have a system in place to stop them, I don't think we will hear about that tomorrow. It isn't exactly something to be proud of.

This is almost certain. Sony have to throw in something just because...well Sony.
I'm hoping for something relatively harmless like 4GB GDDR5 and 4GB DDR.
All my cousins etc are coming round mine tonight. Going to connect up the laptop to the big screen to watch the stream. Better be good lol, otherwise there'll be a room full of very disappointed people
At least we'll have delicious food though.
I really hope they stream it on the psblog or YouTube so I can watch it on my tv too.

NFS and PGR really aren't that similar. Yes, they're both arcade racers, but the actual driving mechanics are very different. I understand the want for another futuristic racer, but that's one genre in racing that the public just doesn't seem to care about for some reason. That's why Liverpool is no longer around. :/
