Large group? I'd say that is stretching it a mile and a half.
That's why I said sizeable, not large. Neoenigma, Durante, Spazznid, LiquidMetal, and myself have all made mention. Sinatar made a remark that could be interpreted either way so I'm leaving him off that list because I don't know for sure how he feels about it.
Of the top 20 posters, that's a quarter of the people who post most often in this thread. Also, those are only those who have actually taken the time to speak on the matter. Surely others are in favor of SweetFx (as well as certainly others against it as well) who haven't taken the time to voice their opinion.
I wasn't trying to pretend as if 51% of all posters in this thread have said they'd like SweetFx allowed or anything, just that there is certainly a very active portion of users in this thread who would be in favor of it.
Then when every other poster was using SweetFX, it slowly turned into a "OMG share ur settings" type of deal. I think we had a week where it was nothing but SweetFX and setting sharing posts - That was also the week where I slowly stopped posting.
Well, what's wrong with that? Isn't that a really cool thing about having a community such as this? You can see someones screenshot and find it really visually appealing, and then share your settings among posters and play the game in the same way that you were just recently admiring. The fact that there was a week of people posting and sharing settings shows that there is certainly a demand for it, even if you yourself aren't personally a fan of it. If one of the things you really despise is people filling up threads asking for SweetFx settings, then why not just ban asking for others settings, rather than SweetFx all together?
So when we were making a new thread for bullshots, of course we weren't going to allow the single worst injector that is so easy to use and was the bane of the other thread for a long time, because 1-2 knows how to use it. You open the floodgates for a lot of rubbish.
I think you're really hyperbolizing what people end up with when using SweetFx. We've all seen it used terribly, but we've seen the same for ENB. Most of the time when you see SweetFx recently, it's either good, or mediocre.
I'm not going to just say "OKAY" because 5 people want to use SweetFX or don't mind it.
Well then to counter that, why say no just because a couple of people don't want it? I haven't done any actual counting of these numbers, but I feel as if I've seen more people for it than against it.
