See what? That this actually isn't a big deal whatsoever, and some people's knee jerk reactions have been a little dramatic?
Or are you implying Versus is going to be there, and everyone is going to get to see it?!?!?!?!?!

So Im assuming this is during Nintendo's presser event after their ND because I highly doubt SE would hold their event at 7am. I dont even think the convention center is open that early.
And aside from that, the event is FF, specifically.

We have to see gameplay in the PS4 trailer, just CG is unacceptable.

About versus? I expect to see a media blowout(CG and gameplay), cross gen for PS3(4), release dates given or at least hinted at, anything other than that is unacceptable. My god is been like 7 years.

Why would this be ignored? Journalists are going to be attending it and then they'll report on it afterwards. It's not like they're going to have problems filling seats because it takes place during a Nintendo Direct. If this were taking place during an actual Nintendo conference then it'd be a big problem.

That's the thing, it takes place just before the actual Nintendo press event.
It sounds like "runs at the same time" isn't the right wording here. Didn't the person who tweeted it say that they could make it to the Nintendo event if they rushed? It's not like they overlap completely.
It's like... Square Enix's event is first, but the tail end of the Final Fantasy event could run into the Nintendo one.

It's not taking place during a direct. It's taking place (just before, uncomfortably close to) Nintendo's live, in person hands on press only event.

I think they might consider saving the actual gameplay for the TGS, building up some unrealistc hype.
About KH I'm not sure if it will either be the third or just X, but I think/hope they'll show something more than the western localization of 1.5.
Ok, maybe I'm Believing a bit too much now.
There's nothing to watch, it's an event for the press where they'll possibly play and see new games which they'll then report later.
But I wanna watch Toriyama sing a love song to Lightning live.

For consideration: Square held similar events in the past at E3. Just facts on the past:
Last year, they held an after-hours event on Tuesday for Agni's Philosophy where they did the debut of the trailer (in the same minute the PR was released to the press)
The year they announced 14, they did a (incredibly empty - less than 50 people) 1 hour mini event where they once again showed the trailer, let the key developers talk about their plans for the project, and then a panel-based Q&A with the press present. Shame happened for 13.
Basically what I'm saying is that this stuff is pretty normal, especially in the years since they stopped doing their own press conference.

After having gameplay in the 2011 trailer, they aren't going to go back to pre-rendered CGI only trailers. I'm not so 100% sure that Versus will be at E3, but I AM 100% certain that WHENEVER Versus resurfaces, it will be a major blowout with tons of gameplay & interviews & previews given for the press.

side note, IX didn't resonate with me though as much as VI & VIII, but IX was a solid FF title and I would play it again if it ever got a remake.

Nintendo Direct can be viewed at anytime, this cant.

No feed doesn't mean private/NDAs. It will likely be liveblogged and I'm much more curious about the new Final Fantasy than I am the new Mario/Smash.
