Is ZombiU over 100k in NA?

Not that I disagree but I also believe that they're able to come up with some sort of mechanic to keep you in the game. Would it work as well as the gamepad? Doubtful. Will we get a chance to see it in action? Outlook not so good. Regardless of how diluted the experience will be well just need more games like this on the market. It's part of the reason the PC indie scene looks better by the day.
Yes, Zombie games sell terribly on all other platforms. Also TV entertainment. Movies too. The mass market hate them. A lot. And express this by hurling money at them.
Yep dunno why they made it exclusively for the Wii U. There's two platforms that you just don't touch right now as a 3rd party... Wii U and Vita.

Jeeze I've been commenting on posts like this for months. It sparked my rant on why quoting 'that banned site' even for arguments sake is not only stupid but downright damaging due to the false sense of success it gives for releases to people who seemingly only purchase successful games. Why do I even bother.
Again, the issue here is Nintendo. They've simply not manage to get anyone intrinsically interests into what the wii u offers, outside of the 700k or so people who wanted nsmbu
Edit: no 3rd party game is anywhere near 500k ww. Okay I think I'm just done talking about it ha
So arguably the most liked and recommended Wii U game wasn't even close to profitable?
You are already dead.
ITT: a ton of people who haven't played ZombiU critique it.
What's novel about ZombiU is that your item management is on the gamepad while the game continues on screen. The tension it creates in the space between the second screen and the TV is what makes it so immersive; you're not just flicking your eyes over to another part of the television.

Whaaaaa? Why in the world would you do that?
It sounds like WiiU is failing harder than GameCube. Nintendo's home console business model is really unhealthy.
Stick a fork in it, it's done.
This is bad news, but I don't know that it's all Nintendo's fault.
Ubisoft could have made things easier on themselves by not calling the game ZombiU. I realize why they named it that, and to the informed gamer it probably doesn't make a difference, but to your average Joe-Walmart it probably sounds like a crappy piece of shovelware.
Also, despite this game having a very focal fan base and good word of mouth among gamers, it didn't really review all that great.
Still, this is bad news.
He's also implying that the console tanked during its first holiday, which is debatable to say the least. So, I suspect this is true, but it's really odd to me that the biggest piece of news in the article isn't quoted or sourced at all, just stated like that.
Its time to move Zombie U franchise to PS3/PS4/X360/Xbone and PC.
well duh but you didn't specify that either though 1.3+ million outside of the US does seem odd, especially since wii u is doing even worse in Europe
Good point. Where was the marketing for Zombi U? Ubisoft pushed AC3 at every corner, but I never saw a commercial for Zombi U. No marketing plus terrible reviews doomed the game.
Wasnt there like about 10 people who were playing Madden online on a sunday afternoon on the wii u.
I really dont understand why they are doing this.

do a better game next time ubisoft... same to ea... companies need to stop saying that are "suporting" wiiu. If all you are going to do is release rushed, cheap titles for launch...
...and give it a better online component
That game wasnt even playable on WiiU demo stands; in UK.
Wow, I totally forgot about Rayman Legends. Can't believe it's still not released...
Considering what someone else posted in this thread earlier, this seems to be a gross exaggeration.
