Mode called Wonderful missions, set co-op missions for up to five players. Defeat x amount of enemies and compete for highest score.

Comic con footage - the first 20 minutes of the game so yes spoilers,
lol the guy playing it must of gotten frustrated at the end because he couldn't make that line.

That guy playing is soooo bad. Actively ignoring the obvious tuturials. If anyone wants to watch the intro, check out Gamespot's playthough on YouTube (don't have the link since I'm on my phone). At least the person playing in that video is competent, plus Bill Trinen is there to explain the game.

Yeah, the IGN dude sucks. And then later on he also bashes the game for being 'unresponsive' rather than his own lack of competence.
Oh well, it's not like I visit IGN much anymore. Also pretty much quit Gametrailers altogether, I grew tired of their constant Nintendo bashing. I visit those kinds of websites for information, not for unfair criticism.

IGN dude used to be a 1UP dude just a few months ago until they were shut down and the instance you're referring to is the one bit of criticism among a lot of praise for all the Wii U games at SDCC from him.

1 crack can make a wall crumble. The fact that he blames his own incompetence on the game takes away all the credit he may have had before, IMO. Not because he made a mistake, not because he sucks at gaming, but because he fails as a journalist.
I think you're veering into "mild" exaggeration territory here...

I think he got promoted to Director of Product Marketing for NOA recently, actually... so he's not just "Head Treehouse Translator guy" anymore.

1) Each stage is about 10x the length of the Prologue that was demoed at Comic-Con

Oh damn. It took me about 12-15 hours to finish Bayonetta. 20 hour claim seems spot on if this is true. Looks like this might be their longest game yet.

yea he's great. that nate guy who worked at nintendo was pretty good at that stuff, too. sometimes i get the impression that the people working over at NoA don't really understand the games that they're selling but those guys are convincing counter arguments. there are obviously some people up there who know what they're doing
It's the difference between the marketing guys who get interviewed or those who actually came from the Treehouse and worked in Localization (or even still do) for years like Nate Bihldorff, JC Rodrigo, Rich Amtower and good ol' Trintran
(and of course the ladies who I've seen for the first time on-camera in the Animal Crossing New Leaf videos on Ninty's YT channel - Reiko and Ann if I'm not totally mistaken?).Yeah, but if it has more stages than Viewtiful Joe, and each are about 10X longer than the prologue segment... well, do the math. Personally, I could care less whether it's 40hrs or just 4. If it's even half the fun of Viewtiful Joe, then it'll be worth every penny, for me. So far, it's seems well beyond my minimum requirements.

Hopefully 101 can pull off the same.

I imagine it's some strategic timing thing but then I see it's coming out at the same time as GTA5. Obviously the Wii U crowd isn't getting a version of that game but I'm sure there's quite a bit of overlap there.
It's going to be rough waiting for the US release, going to avoid all 101 threads once game gets out in the wild. So excited for this game, it really looks perfect!

I think my hype for this title is kicking into overdrive. I can feel it swelling with vivid, bouncy anticipation, threatening to explode out of my skull and scream in joy. Viewtiful Joe was one of my favorite titles as a child, and the superb art direction, all-age humor and imaginative gameplay of this makes it seem like it's quite possibly my game of the year.

Nothing against anyone but, heh, I could say the same about your post. Maybe that's not the best way of saying it.
Sorry if it came off as condescending, but really, it is totally unrelated to the game and a completely unoriginal in-joke based on someone being asked inane things on twitter.
IMO, it is one of the least effective ways you could express any kind of love for TW101. I totally understand why people latch on to it, but it is the Platinum equivalent of walking up to Dave Chapelle and saying "I'm Rick James."
