Onimusha = Sony exclusive (outside of tactics) plus the fact that capcom does not seems to want to make games with big budget now?

Onimusha Soul is not a new game. It was on browsers first, released on iOS/Android last month, and now it's heading to an unnamed consumer game platform.

Man, saw Breath of Fire listed after going to bed and thought it was a dream. I'm now up again and oh my god I want to be dreaming ;-; And now it's even worse due to the Onimusha vita game(yay!)......as I saw the youtube video of it.

I think Capcom saw that people wanted new IPs and old IPs and is like here you go and think that they're pleasing people and then when no one buys their shitty shit iOS/mobile/browser games they'll be like "What!? you asked for these and we gave them to you." The fact that companies continue to be so out of touch with fan bases is ridiculous.
I realize the advent of "mobile games" is the money market right now, but they need to really look at what sells on mobile. Angry Birds, Tiny Wings, Candy Crush Saga, etc. It's all simple pick up and play games, play a few levels or rounds and put it down. No touch gestures, no overly complicated systems within the games, just simple stupid fun. I can't stand playing any sort of real game on iOS, especially ones where you need touch controls and you can't see the screen cause your hands are covering it. (I have an iPhone 4s)

- Capcom canceled several projects earlier this year, including outsourced titles.
- Capcom can't really fund next big Street Fighter now according to Ono
- The number of known upcoming games from Capcom is pretty low. What's left after Lost Planet 3? Dead Rising 3, which they are kinda hands off and Deep Down whatever it is, who knows when becomes a thing. and some 3DS games like AA5 international launch and MH4.
- Speaking of LP3, they're not really wasting money on that and advertising anymore.
- Capcom announces crap load of mobile games and other social browser games in cash grab genre. even the previously thought console game Deep Down is seemingly an MMO?

I wouldn't be so sure. The market for these games in Japan is crowded already and I don't see any of these games bringing new value to the market.
