first race mall or nothing i think its called... saw 3 other people in tyhe blue circle, then it crashed.

any aussies on 360 let me know if you can actually get in

Didn't see a choice of lobbies or a chance to browse any other options but the drug shootout was aim assisted, not hard locked.

Or 'they' can review it as a separate game. Can't tell if you're being sarcastic though.

Not really getting the drive by sharking or trolling. It was expected that this launch would be a cluster fuck, the numbers themselves spell that fate out. The people at Rockstar aren't wizards or magicians.

Wont get to play this until about 6:00 this evening so I am expecting a complete server disaster. Before anyone jumps on me for saying that, lets not forget that the iFruit app was pretty much useless for the best part of a week.

Then I'm expecting an announcement from Rockstar apologising for the server issues which have been caused by "unforeseen overwhelming demand" - At the end of the day, no matter how much cash they make, they are always reluctant to spend on server capacity.

If I sound bitter its because I've had a bad week and I really want to drive over you all in GTA:O not sat looking at a 'failed to connect to server' message ;)

FYI when you get the update and launch the game you can jump right into online from the initial loading screen by hitting A or X. :)

They upgraded the amount of servers they had just for this, but when your game makes $1Bil in 3 daysthere's only so much you can do to prepare lol

Free aim bros always get left out in the rain. Max Payne 3 free aim lobbies died much faster than the aim assist ones, the RDR free aim lobbies paled in comparison number wise to the aim assist ones. Using free aim in GTA IV was a deathwish, since the majority of people like taking the instant kill option.

Free aim only users have always been a dying breed, I loathe and detest playing with aim assist or lock on.

For those of you who have played, I loaded up the game and it was stuck on loading the first race mission.

I left to go get a drink and take out the trash. My screen is now stuck on "Online Tips" screen with random tips rotating. I cant seem to find a way out of here? Is it frozen? the sound is still working though. Thanks!

UK here just downloaded the patch and made my character on the PS3.

Keep failing to join a session though... :/

I'd let it go if you could but things have progressively been getting worse so you'll be kicked eventually. :(

For anyone wondering about aiming, it seems its softlock when doing co-op missions but for deathmatch type games its set to traditional GTA style.

Sounding like server issues before most people even got the update. Promising :/ ah well, it's to be expected, hopefully they get it sorted out within a few days.

Is there a way to stop it kicking you back to the single player when it fails to join? Sight takes too long to load.
