Due to a lack of PC conversions I don't think that'll cause much uproar in this thread. ;) But what do you mean by 'obfuscating'? I only played the demo of Bayonetta and didn't like much about it but played through Vanquish two times back to back recently and enjoyed it immensely. The gameplay was fast and fresh and while the story sure was 'adolescent' and silly it did fit the crazy action.

The focus on high-level play as a requirement for enjoying the game, basically. I like tough games but I prefer the stages/encounter designs to be the challenge, not learning all the moves/mechanics.

HL2 has become more wonderful with time. You people are broken inside.

I do not understand Half-Life 2 hate. That's like someone saying they hate a child's laughter.

Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.
I strongly dislike Half-Life 2.

I'm with you. VASTLY overrated.

Really enjoyed the episodes, though.

I didn't like them either. It's only when
What'shisface/"Eli?" died... Alyx's dad from that alien baby advisor thing
that the game started to pick up for me.

And then Valve didn't do shit with this for years. So...

I remember playing a game were you could capture the dinos and your charater had tranquilizer darts, it's a FPS but I don't remember the name.

With all the HL3 hype I should play HL2 again and finally finish the episodes but I think I'm going to wait an official statement from Valve.

So when can you even save in Volgarr the Viking? I beat the first level, quit after a while on level 2, and when I reload I'm back at the very start again. I can't be arsed with that sort of nonsense any more, I have shit to do. Seemed like a fun game, too. Oh well.

I have no objection to its difficulty, but come on, at least let me keep my progress. Even a save that erases itself on a reload would be fine.

I heard if you run to the left when starting the game that you will find the answer to your question.

I'm tempted to pick up the Flying Bundle for ittle Dew after hearing all the good stuff about it from you guys but I really am not interested in any of the other games and to be honest I should really try to finish some of the games I already have before getting too many new ones.

Ah, the old school gaming, where there is no save points :)

The best dinosaur game is Nanosaur.

You play as a time travelling raptor who can use guns and has a freaking JETPACK.

The best dinosaur game is that RTS, Paraworld.

Also, why is that picture so hard to find online? Only one result on google images which errored out, had to upload my local copy

I agree but that's mainly because no other FPS has challenged it and as such the game stands as one of the greatest with little to no competition. Still in my view HL1<EP2<HL2<EP1.

I'm gonna laugh my ass off when we plow through another generation of shooters with literally everything bolted to the floor.

Uuuuh, I'm interested in Hack Slash Loot. Above tiers are worth something or I just go with the 1$ cheapass one?

I love Vessel and Cargo Commander is okay but both were in other bundles and cheaper on Steam. Only worth it if you don't own any of them but then it's a great bundle imo. Does aynone know what the mystery unlock could be?

Tobe's Vertical Adventure is a fun little game, Shuggy is excellent and well worth anyone's time and money. I'd go with Tier 2. The $8 Tier ... Cargo Commander and Vessel have both been available way cheaper on other occasions, I wouldn't spring for it if I were you.

Ah, thanks everybody but I'm sorry your answers are now useless as my gf just reminded me that she's earning not even a dime this month, so I better keep my credit card in my wallet or else. :D

I bought the first tear (even though it doesn't mention Steam keys anywhere, I don't think) and there's nothing on my download page: No links to the games or Keys.

There's an unanswered message on the support board with the same issue as me.

Oh well...

If you scroll down you eventually get to the about section, where they say all games come with Steam keys.

Well, that's my interest (which was pretty non-existent) dropped to 0.
Speaking of bundles:

Indie Royale Debut 5 bundle is live.

Oh man why didn't I wait a few minutes

Edit:
"It's pay what you want for six amazing and original indie games - all available on Steam.
Yes, you will get individual Steam codes for all games!"

We're safe.

Well, they do say at the very top in the left hand corner:

Big Bad Bundle.
All Indie, All Steam, All Awesome. Starting at $1. Supports Child's Play Charity.

No it's not, lying bundle.
The fact that they locked the games that everyone and their dog already got in other bundles in the most expensive tier is pretty funny tho.

Whatever happened to TF2 items as a pre-purchase bonus? Haven't seen such an offer in a while.

Gunpoint had one, so they definitely still exist. But I think because it takes a bunch of separate work to certify TF2 items, they don't really have the throughput to be able to do it for every new release. Also I think that since Greenlight has really picked up they've tried to automate as much of the pre-release pipeline as possible so it's kind of counter to that ethos as well.

Are you implying Big Bad Bundle games are SteamOS exclusives?

Oddly enough, even though some of the games on there do have linux builds, they're not part of Steamplay. Vessel, for example, has had Mac and Linux ports since last year.
