Deadshot (the sniper dude) in the bank. I somehow finished it with out him being knocked out or going over to the hostage and it gave me a checkpoint before I could do anything. I didn't receive any credit for it though and the quest marker is still there.

Huh? No I haven't heard or encountered that. I think the way the game reconised flags and how it checkpoints and saves is a bit wonky. I had an upgrade relock on me when I used a fast travel point but it didn't give me back the xp and several people are getting the synopsis unlock early leading to spoilers. It's a little rough around the edges.

Edit: Oh and as Nabs is saying there's a few geometry glitches where you might end up falling endlessly.

I hate that I can't get ME3 on Steam. It's delaying my inevitable purchase if the ME bundle on Steam.

I finally gave in yesterday and pre-ordered BF4, which required Origin. Unlike most EA games, I have zero confidence BF4 will ever be released on Steam, plus if it was release 4 years from now, chances are no one will still be playing BF4. I've been waiting for ME3 and Crysis 3 on Steam, refusing to buy them on Origin, but now I will, next Origin deal I see.

I'd try Brink for free, but I couldn't even bring myself to pay 5€ for it when it was in the bargain bins... same with Hunted: The Demon Forge (You hear me, Bethesda? Get that shit on PS+).
The concepts intrigue me, but I've heard so many bad things about both games that I can't really justify the cost.

I'd say no at that price. Amazon often has it for cheaper - they sometimes have *really* cheap 2K games; I think I got Spec Ops from them for $2.50. I also don't think the game is all that great, story included, but I might be in the minority on this one. Then again, I'm not the type who cares about ludonarrative dissonance or anything like that.

Laughable story. But that may be me that, not being American but from a country that don't really give a shit about its army, find really difficult to get some empathy.

No, I think it's one of more overrated games on gaf, tries to be Bioshock for the military shooter genre and fails.
