Tropical Freeze already looks better than Returns. That game's quality isn't in doubt if you ask me. 3D World had people worried, but only really because of the legendary status of Galaxy 1 + 2.

Pikmin 3 is no hype generator, but I can say with full confidence that it will be as good as 3D World and ALBW. Nintendo's 2013 line up is outstanding. Such a shame it will go unnoticed because 'lol sales'.

It's even more obvious than that; the point of multiplayer is so you can play the game with multiple players. Even if it wasn't fun, there would still be a purpose to having the mode.
Also people shouldn't dismiss TBB's review before they post it, the game being too short or having disappointing multiplayer (which I assume is what he meant instead of "pointless") are valid complaints, much more so than "bowser is the antagonist again".

If there's one thing that disappoints me about what I'm reading in all this positive reception, it's this undercurrent of "The Wii U finally gets a great game!" The greatest game of the year and greatest action game of all time came out a few months ago, guys. You're only hurting yourselves by not giving it a shot.
