The Xbox One was well stock for the whole month the PS4 not so much, its hard to say really.

So are we going to have Xbox platform vs Sony platform? If MN is going to quote some numbers and as some expect the PS4 sold better than the XB1, it might not be to far of a guess that the 360 and XB1 out sold the PS3 and PS4.

Lots of people started predicting higher ps4 numbers when the 4.2 number came out. My guess is that a huge amount of those is from the rest of the world. Xbone is gonna win December.

Some say the increased availability of The One is due to MS concentrating their shipments heavily in the US. The PS4 has been released in more markets and has had to ship to all of them, and the general consensus as far as I've seen is that Sony has been sending a large amount of their consoles to Europe instead of North America.

The counterargument is that there just aren't enough people purchasing The One and that demand is far higher for the PS4, since retailers appear to be selling through their stock almost instantly upon receiving it.

I'm willing to bet that the NA-centric strategy for The One and less North American supply for the PS4 means that The One will win this NPD by default. If the PS4 does happen to have outsold The One in December, I along with many other GAFers will be pretty shocked.

I would love to see some worldwide numbers though.

That is a very good prediction. I expect the bulk of that 4.2 Mil to 3 Mil gap to come from Sony practically doubling Xbox sales in Europe. I think Microsoft will have NA safely in hand until Sony's Manufacturing Catches Up to Global Demand.
