Metal Gear Rising will keep my reactions in top form for Dark Souls II.

I'm half tempted to go through Demons Soul's for the 20th time to sharpen up seeing as I find that an all round tougher game.

Been ages since I've updated DSFix and see there's some new bells and whistles though the UI scaling and opacity is great it is a bit wonky especially with bosses health bars. Got it sorted using the Helix 3D mod but now that conflicts with Precision. Bloody compromise after compromise.

Yeah I saw that earlier today and though it looked really promising. Cook, Serve, Delicious! is still my go to cooking sim fix though. I don't see ingredients anymore just the corresponding letters flash up in my head!

Is Durante's UI mod able to toggle? Just doing some faffing around with the Helix version and you can either have it scaled down or toggle it on or off. It's quite nice but it does still leave text and damage counts on screen and one massive gripe that had me at 6's and 7's is that the lock reticule is made transparent as well. Been testing the new Shadow Play features and made a right hash of it. Might upload it for shits and giggles.

Not in the standalone. If you're just looking to play without other players, joining an empty or near empty server is your best bet.

Hahaha I've beat it about 6 times now and even I'm debating where I want to tackle next. Great strength of the game is that it does give you a few options. Though I'm sat here with a checklist so I can 100% 1000/1000 before the beast of GFWL is slain for good so I kind of feel like a quantity surveyor.

I think there's a difference between playing against the environment where the environment contains other people, and playing against griefers

Been waiting a few days for Uplay customer service to add assassin's creed 1 into my account. Bought it years ago through the uplay store but totally forgot I had it. Now that I got ac4 for free with my vid card I loaded the Uplay thingy up and it's not there. The autoreply they send you doesn't even give you a decent time frame, just tells you to wait a few business days for a response. Jeez.
