Not sure if it's coming to PS4, but Next Car Game by Bugbear is in early access on Steam right now and looks pretty incredible.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if they went with a PS4 release that was no different at all just so people can play the game without dragging out their PS3s. It, of course, would depend on how much a project like that would cost, of course.

But Persona 5 is a very late-generation PS3 game and we've seen literally nothing of it yet.

Gamescom will be very indie focused again but MM and GG will show off their new IPs and Polyphony will announce GT for for PS4.

Shahids #jrpg campaign not only comes to fruition, but delivers more than one game. pleases everyone.

Borderlands 2 is actually a worthwhile port on vita

7.) Firmware update allows for 1080p uncompressed screenshot captures and video capturing is enhanced to 1080p capability.

8.) Demons Souls 2 is a thing, and it will be glorious. The 6th pillar world

9.) Level 5 announced Dark Cloud 3, will release Q3 2015

I like this one.

Any chance of Knack getting paid DLC? Would make even more sense. Killzone will already have premium options available and could use the population boost. AC4 also sets up the next AC well enough.

I have never understood this theory. The idea is that Sega is so happy about their fantastic sales for a late, money-grubbing port of an ultra-niche title that in the future they will... eliminate the possibility of such a late port, thereby cannibalizing their own sales?

If anything, the performance of P4G just guarantees that they'll use the same strategy N1 have been following: purposely exclude the handheld from the initial release, then do an expanded re-release a year or two later so their fans all double-dip.

Wouldn't it be more clever to put the re-release on the platform which has more fans and userbase?

Basically a Persona 3, where it went into P3 FES and P3P.

Sony releases 3D Bluray playback and DLNA late 2014. Shu confirms it takes a year for OS devs to look into it. MP3 a 2015 release with altering dynamic background colors. New avatars will be a 2017 thing.

As for games, Samsung buys Nintendo, Apple some hows sue and win and Nintendo IPs goes to Sega. Dreamcast reborn in 2015.

FFXV launch window between nov2014 -march 2015 and it will recieve dlc exclusive first on ps4 with a one month difference like cod.. Denzel gif BOOM!

I can see Knack for PS+ after thier e3 keynote and killzone for the anniversary of PS4 release date in NA , though sooner would be better

Battlefield 3 was on PS+ so I wouldn't be surprised if BF4 was on it by the end of the year.

I have the exact same feelings about PlayStation now, I hope it's good for everyone

I do wonder if PS4 does blows up in JPN and PS3 sales plummeted in software sales that Sega will tell Atlus to port the game over the PS4. I can see a PS3 JPN version for winter 2014, but when release in the US (4-6 months later), a PS4 version is pretty much a must. I just don't see PS3 US software sales in 2015 to be even a factor.

1.) Driveclub isn't close to being finished, and it'll most likely be a Oct-Dec 2014 release.

2.) Demon's Souls 2 is NOT a thing. That is to say, we're not going to see a direct sequel to Demon's Souls.

3.) Against all odds we'll see a western release of Yakuza.

4.) We're not going to see any "Ultimate" versions of 1st/2nd party PS3 titles, not with Sony pushing Playstation Now.

5.) I agree with a 2015 The Order release, it looks way too early for a big next gen 2014 title.

I assume is because either the gears franchise or epic games aren't contractually obligated anymore to Microsoft thus allowing them to go multiplat. I could be wrong

Definitely. PS3 is no PS2 and P5 would be constricted if it only released on PS3 next year.

Sly Cooper 5 by Sanzaru will be announced, likely for 2015.

Quantic Dream's PS4 game is a scifi game taking place around the Kara tech demo, the main theme is the divide between humans and inorganics and how the line is blurring (Singularity). Kara is a playable character, and you play as the guy/girl who buys her.

Persona 5 will have a short window between the release of the JP version and the US. Unsure about UK...

Crash will return to PS4.

Sony will still focus on Move kinda sorta like they've been doing. Media Molecule's new game will rely heavily on Move.


And a joke/less serious answer:
With an agreement with AMC, Naughty Dog and Quantic Dream will make a Breaking Bad game (as the series was funded by Sony)

Epic own the IP and the rumors are that MS had exclusive publishing rights to the first 4 entries, which may also explain GoW:J outsourced development and being one of the last MS exclusives on 360 so that they could enter the new Gen multiplatform, though again rumors.

The reason l bought PS4 was for it's exclusive games. I hope Sony don't constantly delay game releases or create a drought in between games. These studios IMHO have had plenty of time to create these games so l can't quite understand the delays.

Sony supported the PS3 with AAA first party titles last year. MS hasn't really done that so it makes sense that it looks like Sony is behind in first party titles for the PS4 at the moment. I guess they couldn't afford to release those games on the ps4 due to the smaller install base. I think late 2015 is when Sony will finally get back to form with the first party titles

2) Uncharted NOT released in 2014. (but I say 1st quarter calendar 2015)
3) PlayStation Now "officially" releases in August. (maintaining the "summer" release window)
4) PlayStation Now actually works, for the vast majority of people.
5) PlayStation Now is $5/month for PS+ peeps. ($10 without +)
6) The Order is the PS4 game of the year, and possibly GOTY across all platforms.

EDIT for more! :p
7) "Gran Turismo 6: Encore" releases on PS4 in late summer.
8) The Last of Us DOESN'T get a PS4 version; keeping it as a major draw of PlayStation Now.
9) LittleBigPlanet 3 is a big holiday release. It allows the creation of 3D open worlds, and Sony pitches it as "next-gen Minecraft".

1- TLG won't be shown in 2014.
I definitely don't think TLG will be cancelled. It's development was moved to the PS4 a while ago. It's been re-vamped ala FF 15/verses13 for next gen. probably resurfacing 2015 or 2016.


2- TLOU and GT6 will get PS4 versions by the end of the year. especially GT6, because of how bad the game sold because of it being on PS3.


3- Playstation VR will get shown at E3. compatible with drive club.

Sant Monica Stig's game is teased at E3 and looks incredible, totally different from the God of War games

Japanese development is invigorated by PS4 success, new ideas and IPs start to be shown around TGS. An "indie" movement begins in Japan

- Sony will keep the PS4 at the same price, but will start including the camera after the Xbone drops to 400$/€

- Tearaway 2 announced for PS4

- Dual Shock 4's light bar will be able to be turned off

- Sony Japan's next game will be another Legend of Dragoon for PS3/PS4
