Fucking game trolls me so hard. I hate it. So. Fucking. Much.
43 tickets total on my alt. Got down to ticket 25 and got Prompto. Fucking hell. Few tickets later, fucking new ass Fina. Fuck. I hate Fina so damn much. Third to last 4* ticket..... Seabreeze Fina. Fucking fuck. No. Just, no.

Damn guys, Yesterday was my birthday, and I waited up for the banner to change since I was up already. Probably the best rainbow luck of my life with this game:
-30 Mil ticket - Rainbow (5th Orlandu) and some 3* trash + 10% moogle - Awesome!
-Burned the rest of my raid coins on the raid summon, ended up with 5 tickets and a 4* ticket
-Burned the 4* - got the new 4* base wolf guy
-Burned 5 tickets - got Rainbow off-banner Beatrix (my 1st) and 3 of the new 3* unit
-Did a single 10+1 with the 6000~ odd lapis I had before buying some more that I planned to buy on this banner:
TRIPLE Rainbow with one each of the new banner units and a miscellaneous Lightning (my first actual pull of her, since I got that free quest one a few weeks ago).
I'm actually pretty amazed, I've never gotten a triple rainbow before, much less with both banner units of a double 5* banner. Plus I really wanted Beatrix but after I got Eiko on a single 10+1 I decided to stop spending resources to get her. I couldn't be more happy about the turnout of this stuff.
Now to save everything for whatever crossover limited units we get. I'm hoping Monster Hunter (with the success of World how could they not?) and Bravely Default.

Yeah. Since I can't get her on JP... since she avoids me like the plague, I thought maybe now. And I hate Fina. Everything about her. She's annoying. All her forms suck ass. She is just a multiple waste of space.

The hatred lol. When we first started JP we were all trying to dodge Espeon. I am just not into the animal thing tbh. The closest I can get is the cat people like Y'shtola lol.
Not going to lie, part of me feels I should have come back to JP instead of GL. I have all the units I want on that account. Right now I need Wilhelm, Nichol, Sakura, and Rydia on my GL account. 2 of them aren't out and the other 2 I don't have.
I think Kunshira is pretty awesome. Been using her a lot on my JP account and I'm pretty happy with her. Being able to chain, do elemental damage, finish is a nice thing and adds some flexibility. I kind of think of her like Fryevia.
I can understand where you're coming from, but maybe one day we'll get Select Tickets on Global and you can just pick them out of the list. Heh, heh.

Yeah Noctis is a good pickup no matter how you cut it. Instant 100% TMR.
eggytoast is no longer doing banner reviews on reddit. He claims it's because every banner has the same structure: 5* that's good but doesn't change the world, 5* that's bad but has a good TMR, 4* that has a decent TMR, 3* that doesn't matter.
He has a point. Instead of waiting for THE one like Orlandu back in the day you pull for someone who can fill a role you're missing. Now that I'm covered with 5*s at every role I only really want dupes of those same units so they can continue to carry me forward in the 7* era.
...Or Bravely Default units. When Gumi?
It's not even a new banner. It's crazy. Considering how many units we don't have from JP, this kind of stuff is insanity. I guess I won't be doing anything next week because I didn't like that event back then and it'll be the same this time with the same stuff.

I got Delita #6 from the 10+1 today, nothing notable from the anni pulls. Seriously laughed this morning at the Tidus banner announcement. What the heck are they thinking? If they were going to do a re-run banner I'd have assumed it would be a "Developer's Choice" banner or like a 3 part "guys" banner to offset those relatively good women's day banners. Ah well, Gumi gonna Gumi. At least they hit us up with 100k FP since they majorly pissed off people with the TM event directly after they had the turtle/cactus FP event. That was like a purposeful slap directly to our collective nuts and she-nuts.

I really feel we're get the new stuff tomorrow. They usually do announcements on Wednesday so I feel they're just getting the rerun stuff out of the way today. They really should have done it the other way round though lol. At the very least reruns are good for players who missed it. I'll be needing these reruns for the events I missed.
I hope you're right, man. I was seriously going "what the hell?" when I saw that. Nothing wrong with rerun events, but when they're the main attraction? Yeah...no.

Is FFX going to be the 1/2 day banner or will it just be a background banner while still allowing dailies to be used on Kunshira's banner?

Randi auto-buffs at the start of the turn as one of his abilities. It's in his own kit.
Oh. I didn't know that. That's a cool thing, but I notice he doesn't do it all of the time. I guess it's just a chance thing. Still, pretty awesome. You guys lovin' that badass Tidus/Rikku/Wakka banner? They really outdid themselves with this one!

Ended up with a CG Lasswell. Not excited, but not mad. First one.
Edit: Burned 16 tickets on new JP banner. Was actually last one I was allowing, so I had 10 remaining plus tickets from both MKs I could add back in. Pull #16... Gold->Rainbow. OK Refia. Putting her up for bonus~

Anybody excited for the upcoming FFX banner? 7* Yuna is supposed to be pretty good but I'm not pulling based on that criteria. I'm not sure I'm even going to throw tickets at this one in anticipation of the upcoming collab they keep hinting at. (hoping bravely default)

I am just gonna run 3 Wakka I guess. Fortunately had one I capped (TM and level wise) and a second for TM. Pulled a third other day I'm keeping for MK.

Got everything I want but all the King Cactaur (got capped one though already.) Going to stock up a bit on some 6* mats again as well and then going back to other MK to get tickets out of that, since that is all I'm missing from it.

Yeah I did pulls. Really wanted Yuna. Did a 10+1 ticket and got Rem. Spent 10 tickets and then did a 5k and managed to get her on the last crystal. Really pleased, especially as I got Rem who I really wanted on her banner. Now I can save until Nichol outside of exclusives.

Congrats man, nice pulls. I dropped 8 tickets to try to get some bonus units, got 2 Seymour, a Wakka, and off-banner Loren (who I really really wanted for her TM), so I'm pretty satisfied too.
I guess nothing special going on in Global next week. Either that, or they're taking their sweet time in announcing anything. No idea why they're draggin' their feet when there's so much content not available from JP FFBE. JP FFBE doesn't have much going on this week, either. It'll be a good time to save some lapis and ticket, because there's nothing else bothering with.
I feel like the game is getting a bit stale and they aren't doing anything to really improve the situation. No awesome banners. No amazing events. No good giveaways. It's kinda boring right now.

JP has a lot of events going on right now too. Tail end of the Mog King, Story Event, weapon enhancements this week too. It's kind of weird JP has picked up where GL has slowed down.
Folka released in JP today. Her kit is pretty great and she's a worthwhile choice as a healer. Her main focus is on preventing status ailments from landing on your team and MP recovery. 5 turn duration on her 2 status resistance skills means she has a ton of time to do what she wants in a fight before bringing it back up. She also has a few other unique things like a Water Magic Attack up buff. Her main problem is the lack of AoE Raise/Reraise and a Dispel. The latter is easy to deal with but if you're in a fight where the former is necessary, it'll be a bit rough.

Well, I bought the 90% 3* ticket with the blossom things and got Maria, woo baby!
Lots of news this morning too, probably the banner I'm the least excited about in 2018. I think it's kinda funny that Jake is supposed to be a womanizing stud like Edgar (FF6) but then his CG render makes him look like an old homeless guy. He's my least favorite character by far, and I hated the old Zoldaad storyline during the main quest, I cannot imagine liking this new one we're about to get.
Couple that with the fact that Jake is supposedly the worst CG unit, this seems like the easiest pass on a banner of my FFBE life.

According to reddit there's one banner for each at 2% focus and all off-banner picks are the other CG units. So like: 2% CG Laswell, 1% any other CG unit. No other rainbows appear.
Definitely good for getting copies for 7* which will be released around the same time.

Fryevia's enhancements look pretty good. Nothing crazy - but more DMG and passives, can't complain.

At this point... not really.
I'd have loved it a while back. But also depends on the DQ units we get. And the way they release these collab units is so sad. I'd be a bit more interested if they buffed, but I highly doubt they will. Nothing to get really excited for though. Similar threads
