No idea who Eichner is, never seen him in anything.
You've never watched Parks & Rec? Change that immediately.

LOL. Haven't seen this one.
Can already hear that Rogen laugh.
No lies detected. You've never watched Parks & Rec? Change that immediately.
The animated Disney Jungle Book was one of their weaker films and benefited from the remake, but the Beauty and the Beast remake had no reason to exist, it was already excellent and the live action version ended up a worse film.
the point is $$$

There's nothing better than Billy on the Street.Hopefully it's better than these Billy on the Street clips people are posting.
Pineapple Express needs to be watched. Get to it asap.I know who Set Roman is but looked up his movie list and I have watched none of them. No idea who Eichner is. I don't think he is in any shows my side of the pond.
Glad James is back, hopefully Jeremy Irons is back as Scar and Rowan Atkinson is back as Zazu.
I dunno mang. GAF tricked me into watching that Karate Kid remake years back. Firefly before that. I won't trust any GAF recommendation again.Hopefully it's better than these Billy on the Street clips people are posting.
That doesn't make any sense. It would literally be the same thing again. They would have nothing to record. Just use existing audio.Disney, you fucked up. There is no excuse for not getting the original VAs. If Timon and Pumba are that important then why wouldn't you go with the obvious choices.
Brilliant casting with Eichner as Timon.
I don't get those Billy on the Streets clips either. Startling people on the street is not really funny...?

How would a live action Lion King even work?
A real live action? The broadway version works very well. How would a live action Lion King even work?

Yeah cause Ernie Sabella has such an incredible singing voice. It actually fits quite well.Checks Rogen's singing in Sausage Party
...oh...

The jungle book from the other year mostly covers that.I'm still asking myself this.
Well yeah, but that kind of shows how pointless this entire film is. Literally everyone I've heard about this film went: "Wait, why are they even making this? Who is this for?"That doesn't make any sense. It would literally be the same thing again. They would have nothing to record. Just use existing audio.

It's not for us. It's for today's kids. If they went the route of og v.os why even make it again?I really don't see the point in any of this, why not just get the original VO's? The Lion King is a film from the 90's, pretty much everyone who was in the original still sounds the same (except for James Earl Jones, who ironically is the only original cast member they are bringin back).
I hate all the new "remakes"
they dimish the importance of the original animated theatrical releases

That said. I'm not mad at this casting. in fact I look forward to it. This is going to be the standard version of this movie if it's good.

Now get Jeremy Irons to replay Scar and we're set.
That's the question everybody is asking. Kids today don't need a new Lion King, the original still holds up very well. It's not like it's an animation from the 30's like with Jungle Book nor does remaking it with "realistic" CGI add anything that the original couldn't deliver. It's not for us. It's for today's kids. If they went the route of og v.os why even make it again?
Terrible casting on both accounts they are going play the same characters they do in every movie.
Those two have one delivery and then they hit you over the head will than delivery in hopes to wear down a laugh from you.
