its only 8pm. they can probably have a couple hour rain delay and still finish

True. I just have a feeling that if it starts raining tonight it's not going to stop. It looks like the sky is about to open up here in Philly, too...

Queen of Soul in the audience!!!

There's nothing on the radar for New York. Over here in Jersey it's wet but not raining. This should blow over.

Sky Sports 1 are showing a repeat of last years womens final.

Clijsters winning it in her big return in 2009 was one of the best moments I've ever witnessed in Tennis.

They're saying on the grounds that the rain is letting up. I eat my words.

Brilliant idea to wait almost 3 hours before you start the nightsession, instead of trying to start it asap..

Couldn't they have their little parade or whatever at the start of the day?

espn3 has a separate, riveting camera on Arthur Ashe that recently had a crew using towels to dry the lines. riveting.

Fed takes the 1st set 6-4.

I expect Tsonga to start hitting the ball a lot harder now....

Yeah, this match isn't over yet. Tsonga's strength is consistent power and he loves coming from behind...I'm looking forward to a long one.

There are so many gay innuendos in this sentence I don't even know where to start.

Maybe intentional...lol

Come on Tsonga! Good point!

Love both players, so my man-crush wouldn't mind. A bit disappointed so far that so many points end on either player's unforced errors so far, hopefully they get more consistent as the match progresses.
