Well, turns out my wife doesn't like the new 3DS. She says it is too small. That was alot of effort for nothing.
I personally think everyone who doesn't like the beautiful 3DS XL (and wants something smaller like the 3DS or 2DS) is crazy.
But I got my bf the white new 3DS anyway. He's pretty casual so I doubt he cares to have a XL sized screen.

Retailers believe their employees are like worker ants, and they don't deserve even Thanksgiving off anymore.
They open at 5AM in local timezones. On East coast people are probably starting to line up if I had to guess.
I wouldn't think so. Data will remain the same expect for StreetPass which will reset.

Went to Toys 'R' Us and Walmart for this, they didn't have it. Decided to just give up after that lol. Figured it wouldn't be worth the hassle to have the small chance of actually getting one.
Oh well.

Got a black one, helps to have some old friends at Walmart. They said they sold out right away but we dug through some return buggies and found one.
Also grabbed the last copy of Bravely Second for $20 at Best Buy, surprised they still had it hours after they opened for the rush.

I'm going to try and grab one at Meijer tomorrow morning. Place tends to fly under the radar a little compared to Walmart and Target.
This may be off-topic but I have to ask. Does anyone know if GameStop will have new shipments of the NES classics available at 5AM too?
My brother was there yesterday (Wednesday) and picked one up that just came in. So I'd say it's definitely possible..

That kind of sucks. Also noticed this with the white n3ds we got earlier (bad viewing angles, washed out colors in 3d mode). Guess I should be thankful that my xl has an IPS screen.

On Amazon it's gone from 43 third-party sellers to 65.. Earlier the lowest price was $150, and now it's in the $170s, so some people have bought them.

The hell, dual IPS is also a possible combination? My XL only has a top IPS screen. Why is this even a thing in the first place? Why isn't there consistency in the hardware

Of course they are. Scalpers wouldn't scalp if there weren't suckers out there looking to get scalped.
If people were not dumb and just collectively decided to never buy anything from a scalper, scalping would disappear overnight.
